December 25th

two small presents were sitting beneath the Christmas tree, one was beautifully packed in wrapping paper with a ribbon wrapped around it perfectly and a bow tied on top. the other one looked...rather messy...the paper was crinkly and ripped on some places.

more than once Namjoon caught Jin impatiently picking the gift up and shaking it listening for any Kind of hint of what is inside. but Namjoon would obviously not allow that and pulled him away from the tree easily.

"Naaamjoooonnnn~" Jin walked up to the said Boy again, pouting.

"what is it this time?" Namjoon asked looking up from the book he was reading, honestly he was really amused by jins impatience and he was nervous about giving and receiving presents too.

"presents? pleeeaseeee" Jin did cringe-worthy aegyo to which namjoon just chuckled and got up from his seat.

"ok, but i get to open mine first." jin nodded immediatly and ran to the tree, yelling in excitement. the younger followed quietly, smiling at the other boy.

"awww, how cute..." namjoon smiled at the little present. after he opened the box (not very carefully), he saw the little plastic bag full of heart shaped cookies.

"well, since you're so complicated I decided to keep it simple..." jin kind of complained.

"I love it, it's very you..." Namjoon smiled brightly before shifting closer to jin and tackling him into a hug that made it hard for jin to breathe. "now open mine..." he finally let go and jin smiled before grabbing the messy package.

jin unwrapped the gift before realizing that there is second layer of wrapping paper...followed by another one... and another one... and that kept going on for a while...

"namjooooonnn~" jin whined after what felt like the thousand layer of paper that was removed, namjoon just grinned with a slight tint of nervousness in his eyes.

another five layers later there was only a ball in the size of a baby's fist left in jins hands and a mountain of crumbled wrappingpaper on the side.

the last piece of annoying paper was removed and a little note fell out, jin flashed a sharp stare at namjoon, who just shrugged with his shoulders and smiling a little stupid.

Jin picked up the note and opened it, inside was written with capital letters:

I LIKE YOU ( more than just friends)

Jins eyes widened and as he looked up Namjoon was already sitting extremely close to him.

"a-are you serious?" jin muttered quietly, pretty much whispering, to which namjoon just nodded.

"will you go out with me?" Jin was honestly impressed by Namjoons calmness, little did he know that he was considering jumping out of the window right now and that the worst horror scenarios have been going through his head for 24 hours straight.

"I-i... wow...I...of course!" around a second later jin found himself in namjoons arms, who was internally screaming in joy.

Jin just laughed it off and wrapped his arms around namjoon too.
