Chapter 20 (END)

No One

Jennie started to sleep at Lisa's apartment for almost a month now. Jennie also started making Lisa's favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Lisa didn't smile much, not like she used to.

Do you know that huge smile that Lisa plastered on her face every morning? Yeah, that smile, Jennie miss that, and because of Jennie, everyone misses the smile.

Jennie knows Lisa has a girlfriend and would be loyal to her.

It's morning and Jennie is flipping pancakes. She was done after 5 minutes and now is the hardest level among all, calling Lisa.

She walks slowly towards Lisa's room, she was about to knock on the door but she heard something.

"Sorn, can you just come to my apartment and pretend to be sweet again? Please?"

"So I'm not important to you?"

"Fine, I'll stop pretending and tell her the truth,"

"Yes, I still love her,"

"I'm hungry, bye,"

Jennie immediately pretended to knock on Lisa's door when she heard Lisa hung up.

'So it's just pretending?' 

Lisa opened the door and saw Jennie. Lisa looked at Jennie for a while then walked to the dining table as Jennie followed behind her back.

"You heard the conversation, right?" Jennie's eyes widened. "I'm asking you, Jennie,"

Jennie looked down and fidget her fingers. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I just wanted to ask you to come out and eat break-"

"Now that you know, what do you want to do?" Lisa asked, pulling the chair and sitting down. "I mean, what can I even do, right?" Lisa nodded.

"Go and get ready, I'm taking you out," Lisa said. "W-What?" Jennie stammered confusedly.

"Don't make me repeat it, Jennie," as soon as Lisa said that, Jennie immediately went to her room and change.

^OUTSIDE^

"Where are you bringing me?" Jennie asked when they were walking on the sidewalk. "Somewhere," Lisa replied simply.

When they were walking, Lisa slowly intertwined their hands together. Jennie was shocked at the sudden movement Lisa made. Lisa acts like it's nothing, she just continues scrolling on Instagram. Jennie looked down and smiled silently.

They had reached a place, it seems familiar to Jennie.

"You brought me to a park?" Jennie asked and Lisa nodded. "Yea, it used to be ours remember?" Jennie looked down as she remembered that the park has hundreds of memories of them.

They used to have picnics here, sometimes even a romantic candlelight dinner that Lisa planned.

Jennie looked at Lisa who has a big smile on her face. "I miss that," Jennie said. "What?" Lisa giggled. "That smile... and that giggle," Lisa then looked somewhere else to hide her smile and her blushing cheeks.

Lisa pretended to be cold towards Jennie so that Jennie learned her lesson and when Lisa saw how sincere Jennie is to get back together, she stopped pretending.

Lisa had her heart healed already when she saw Jennie at the airport, but you know, Lisa decided to have a fake girlfriend. (Sorn)

They sat at a bench. Hands still intertwined. "Why did you hold my hand, though?" Jennie asked, looking at Lisa while fidgeting her legs like a kid. "I don't know, you seem cold," Lisa stated.

Yes, it's true, Jennie was cold. Her hands were cold. Silence wrapped around them. Not an awkward one, just a comfortable silence.

"Do you want ice cream?"

"If that's fine with you, then yea, of course,"

^AFTER ICE CREAM, THEY WENT BACK TO LISA'S APARTMENT^ (I'm just lazy and have to do this quickly)

They got home, changed, and went to bed but when Jennie was about to go to her room, Lisa called her; "J-Jennie," Lisa stammered out. Jennie looked behind and saw Lisa cutely staring at her feet. "Yes?"

"I- uh, never mind, good night," she smiled before leaving Jennie there dumbfounded. Jennie just giggled then went inside her room.

They went for their beauty sleep and woke up the next morning.

^MORNING^

Jennie, as usual, woke up to make breakfast. After they ate, they went out.

^FAST FORWARD: THAT NIGHT^

Lisa is waiting for Jennie in the living room while Jennie is showering. At least that's what she says. Lisa waited for Jennie for about 30 minutes and Jennie still hasn't got out of her room. Lisa decided to go and take a look.

She knocks on the door, with no response. "Ni-- Jennie? Are you in there?" Lisa said. She decided to open the door, and as soon as she did, she was presented with a dark room, lit candles were everywhere. She looked around the room until something caught her eyes.

She looks directly at it. It's a white paper laying on Jennie's desk. A written paper. A letter, maybe? She slowly picked it up and read it.

Dear Lisa,

If you receive this letter then I assume you found it in my room. I just wanted to say that I've been stupid for cheating on you. It was wrong and I knew it, but I still did it. These past years you were gone, I have realized what I lost. A love that no other people can give me, and I believe that love was yours. I'm sorry for all the things I did to you. You were someone that I've loved and no other one. But it seemed that you had forgiven me, so, my job here is done. You had forgiven me and that's good :) I'm going back to my hometown. I'll be continuing my dreams there. Don't worry, Lisa, I won't forget you. I love you. Goodbye.

(P/S: Blow the candles for me please, I don't want to burn your apartment)

"You're so stupid, Jennie!" Lisa said while running towards the main door. She opened the door and ran. She ran while her tears started falling.

The rain starts pouring, making everything more dramatic.

Her clothes started to wet, as an ex-basketball player, she has to run. Fast. Quick.

When she reaches the airport, she enters it.

"JENNIE KIM!"

She shouted. She doesn't mind the eyes that kept looking and staring at her. She knelt and start having breakdowns. "What have you done, Jennie. I thought we were happy," She mumbled.

"L-Lisa?" A very familiar voice called her. She looked up and met feline eyes furrowing and looking down at her. "W-What are you doing here?"

"You are so stupid, Jennie Kim," Lisa said while standing up. "I fucking love you," and before Jennie knew it, she fell into Lisa's embrace.

Jennie was shocked. She hugged Lisa back. "Your clothes are wet," Jennie said, thinking she would make the time a little happier. "Not funny, oh, and you have lots of explaining to do," Jennie looked down. "H-How about my flight?" Lisa facepalmed.

"You are stupid, fucking leave it if you love me,"

They took a cab and arrives at Lisa's apartment.

^INSIDE LE APARTMENT^

"Explain," Lisa said coldly.

"I don't know actually, I thought you were sweet to me because you had forgiven me,"

"You heard my conversation with Sulli-- I mean Sorn, right?"

"Who is Sulli?"

"That's another story, now, I just want to cuddle in each other's arm," Lisa said.

They both smiled and fell on the couch. "You are going to have a fever if you don't change," Jennie said. "Let me have a fever so that you can take care of me,"

"What if I got the fever too? Who's going to take care of us?"

"I don't care, but, I just want to say, I love you," Lisa said while hugging Jennie a little tighter.

"I love you more,"

And the next morning, trust me, they did have a fever and Mrs. Manoban came to take care of them.

AHHH! And just like that gAyS, the story ended. How is the ending? To be honest, idrk how to do a sweet ending. Writing this story is more challenging than I expected. Haha. Anyway, I got the idea for the net story.
