18:36, 15 March 2025Elliot watched as Agent Greene took Rory back home. They had spent a few hours talking about the situation before Elliot held the little girl and let her feel safe enough to sleep. He hated how hard Olivia's kidnapping hit everyone, especially Macie and Rory. They just got their mother back to have her taken from them once more.
"Stabler," Elliot frowned as he answered his phone.
"Babe?" Olivia's voice questioned. Elliot's eyes widened as he pulled the phone from his ear and saw an unknown number. He was certain it had to be a spam call, and he was so tired and stressed that he was hearing things.
"Excuse me?"
"Elliot! It's me, Olivia!" Olivia exclaimed into the phone, the service crackling.
"Oh, my god! Baby, it's really you?!" Elliot exclaimed back as he raced into the precinct.
"Yes, it's me! I need you to track this call because I don't know where I am. Lewis Blue kidnapped me per instructions from Hugo! There may be more people coming because Lewis is a pussy and failed this job... So please get to me quick!"
Elliot took the stairs two at a time as he listened to his wife. Slamming the door open, Elliot put the phone on speaker and sprinted towards the squadroom.
"Olivia, is Lewis restrained?" Elliot asked.
"Olivia?" Fin questioned loudly, as he stood and followed Elliot towards Cragen's office.
"Yes, he's restrained. I have him handcuffed to a chair, and I am holding him."
"With what, baby? Do you have a bat or something?" Elliot replied, swinging open the office door. Cragen looked up, his face covered in shock when he heard his detective's voice through the speaker.
"I'm holding him at gunpoint. There might not be enough bullets in case someone tries to finish the job, so haul ass to me!"

Once the call was traced, it dropped. It was like the signal stayed just long enough for the FBI task force to trace the number so Olivia and her unborn son could be rescued. Elliot rode with Agent Ford, his hands shaking as a long line of black SUVs drove from the city with lights and sirens blaring.
"It's going to take hours to get there," Elliot spoke, as he twisted his wedding band around on his finger.
"It's heavily wooded out there, but we are dispatching a helicopter to the area. They will monitor the situation and help if needed," Ford replied.
"If needed? They need to land and rescue my wife. Did someone go to the prison to fuck up Hugo?" Elliot huffed.
"If they land, Olivia can't go back up in the helicopter. Also, no one is going to the prison to fuck him up. We did call the prison and a few agents are heading there now. Obviously, he has some sort of phone, because he was denied phone rights," Ford sighed.
"What if Lewis breaks free?"
"I know Olivia must've softened with pregnancy and being a mother again, but she's still strong. If he breaks free, she'll kick his ass and put him back in his place. I promise."
The drive was long, and Elliot was anxious the entire time. When they arrived well after dark, the smell of smoke was heavy in the air. A helicopter was sitting in a field across from their turn, and bright red and white lights flashed at the end of the driveway. Elliot coughed loudly, rolling up his window, as he saw the house his wife was held in was a pile of smoking debris.
"Oh god," Elliot whispered, climbing out of the SUV.
"Stabler!" Ford called after him, but Elliot was already sprinting towards the house as tears streamed down his cheeks and smoke made his throat itchy and his lungs burn.
"Where's my wife?! Where's Olivia?" Elliot yelled, grabbing a firefighter by his jacket.
"Don't touch me!" The firefighter yelled back, shoving Elliot away from his body. Elliot fell to the muddy ground as tears streamed down his cheeks.
"Do we have any fatalities?" Ford asked as Fin helped Elliot from the ground.
"Yes, we do. The bodies of three middle-aged men were found outside of the residence, along with one in the backyard. Four were taken to the hospital," A local officer spoke.
"Was a woman found? Mid-thirties, twentyish weeks pregnant, brown hair," Ford asked, as Fin kept a hand wrapped tightly around Elliot's arm.
"I'm right here," A voice coughed from the side. Elliot turned quickly and swallowed hard as tears streamed down his cheeks.
Olivia stood in front of him, her body wrapped in a gray blanket. Elliot took a big step towards his wife and wrapped his arms around her for the first time in too long.

Elliot walked into Olivia's hospital room, a plastic bag in hand with clean pajamas and a few of her favorite snacks.
"I know you hate hospital gowns, so I got you some comfy pajamas and some chips and cookies," Elliot smiled weakly as he sat the bag on the foot of Olivia's bed.
"After our son is born, I'm done with hospitals. I will wrap myself in bubble wrap to avoid another hospital stay," Olivia coughed, her fingers adjusting the oxygen she was wearing.
"I'm so glad you are alive," Elliot breathed, his fingers running through Olivia's hair as he kissed her forehead.
"I'm glad too," Olivia whispered.
They stayed in that position for several moments before Elliot sat on the edge of the bed and ran his hand over Olivia's swollen midsection.
"What happened?"
"You saw the videos from the store," Olivia replied.
"Tonight, Olivia. What happened after the call dropped?" Elliot asked softly.
"Hugo sent another team to finish the job. Lewis had two magazines, and that's all. I tried my hardest to never miss a shot, but I had a horrible headache. He hit me a few times so I have a lovely concussion," Olivia breathed.
"Babe," Elliot frowned.
"One started a fire, and I barely got out. By the time the helicopter landed, the fire department was pulling up."
"You did an amazing job today, Liv. You survived, and I am so thankful you did," Elliot spoke, before kissing Olivia's lips gently.
"I knew I had to survive, El. Our son was relying on me... Then I also couldn't widow you after less than a year of marriage. Especially with two grieving girls to raise," Olivia replied softly.
"Can you imagine me raising our daughters as teenagers? Especially if they are anything like you?" Elliot teased.
Olivia laughed softly before it turned into sobs. Elliot quickly looped his arms around Olivia and held her tightly as her tears soaked into his shirt.
