Chapter 23

KEIFER POV

Freya had messaged Edrix to meet them at the food court so we could eat. Apparently they had found a restaurant and wanted to eat lunch. Translation: Wanted to treat us before making us carry their shopping bags. So we went there, obviously. 

Calix was walking with Cecilia in one arm and the other arm pushed their pram. Edrix was pushing their pram, a sleeping Ezra inside, while trying to argue silently with Rory and Eren.CI N was trying to create a plan with David and Felix on how to get the bracelet for Rakki, without her knowing. The rest of them were talking about the food at the restaurant.  Gab was running with Grazel, Denzel being scared each moment she gets closer to hitting something. Kiara was holding Yuri's hand and teasing Percy with him. I was watching Kiara and Gab, trailing behind from the group. Jay had left them with me so I had to make sure not even a finger touched them. She had entrusted them with me so I was protecting them like a hawk. Its not like I was going to let it happen either. Even if Jay hadn't left me with them, they were my kids. Gab didn't have to be related to me to be my son and Kiara was my daughter. My kids.

"Mummy!"Gab yelled. In front of him, a bit far away was Jay. She stood confident, strong and stunning. She was laughing at something Rakki had said before turning to Gab, who was running towards. Further away, running after her brother, was Kiara with a wide smile on her face. They ran into their mother's arms, giving Jay this kind of glow. I don't know how to describe it but she seemed brighter. Like she was meant to be in the light. She hugged her kids and then showed them bags, probably with toys and other things for them.

"My Loves! We are reunited!"CI N yelled, while skipping to Rakki. She looked embarrassed and I got her. Everyone in the mall was looking at us, well her.

"Oi, shut it."She said, while CI N was hugging to her.

"My little baby is so cute while sleeping. And my big baby is so hot."Freya greeted Edrix, with an annoying baby voice. She clung to his arm, planting a kiss on his neck. Edrix turned red.

"How was missing Mum? Did Dad buy you something?" Grace said, bending down to talk to Grazel. Denzel stood beside them smiling at his wife and daughter.

Nearby stood Calix, watching Mica as she showed of her new things for Cecilia who giggled watching her mother and father.

"Are you that lost in thought, Watson?"Jay said, bringing me back to her. She carried Kiara in her arms and held four shopping bags in the other. Gab was standing next to her, playing with Kiara.

"No. I'm not. I thinking about you."I repiled. Her eyes fumed but thankfully her arms were full.

"Daddy, lift me."Gab said, his hands up.

"Of course."I said, lifting Gab up into my arms.

"And you can hold this."Jay said to Percy, who was trying to flirt with Honey again. She handed him the shopping bags and then shifted where Kiara was on her hip.

"You need help?"I asked her. 

"I need food."She repiled, walking toward a cute restaurant.

"She always is."I said to myself.

"Who's alway hungry, daddy?"Gab asked, making me realise that he was still with me.

"Nothing. Let's go eat!"I said, walking over to the restaurant. The rest of them followed us.

"I pick this table. Milady."Percy said, pulling out a chair for Honey.

"I'll sit here."Honey said, sitting as far away from Percy as she could.

Percy tried to sit next to her but she still moved around. It was only until the rest of the section started finding their seats that Honey and Percy finally stopped moving. Percy ended up happy since Honey got stuck sitting next to him. Only problem was that CI N had to sit next to him. 

"Why do I have to sit next to a kid?"Percy grumbled.

"I didn't want to sit next to a circumcised bag either."CI N muttered. Rakki was sitting opposite to him, laughing in amusement.

Honey however gave a small smirk that set Percy red. 

I sat next to Jay and Kiara. Kiara sat between me and Jay and Gab on the other side of me.

The waiter came to the massive table and asked Jay first what she wanted to order.

"What do my babies want?"Jay asked. She wore a gentle smile and her eyes glowed. Her whole presence glowed in fact.

"I want pizza."Gab said. He was sitting with Grazel but she was talking to Grace so he was talking to us.

"I want macaroni."Kiara said.

"Ok. I'll have bolongonse, thank you."She said to the waiter. She gave him a soft smile and the guy's ears turned red. I glared at him and quickly asked the rest of us what we wanted. After the waiter had left, we started chatting again.

Percy was trying to flirt with Honey while CI N was ruining it for him. Grace and Denzel were teasing Eman, Eren, Josh, Rory and Drew on how single they were. Calix and Mica were fussing over their daughter because Percy and CI N were in a loud argument. Freya was making her husband go red and I don't really want to know why. David was talking to Reyna, politely,  about her job and Yuri was glaring at him, making sure he didn't come closer. Rakki was talking to Honey. Grazel and Gab were talking about what was better:cars or trucks.  

"You're always lost in thought, aren't you?"Jay asked me. Kiara was sleeping on her.

"I guess. It's always interesting to know how you changed our section."I repiled.

"I didn't change them. I gave them the push they needed."She shrugged.

"Is she heavy?"I asked Jay.

"Yeah a bit. But I'm fine. She doesn't really sleep with anyone else."She repiled.

"What do you mean?"I asked.

"She only sleeps with me. The rest of them can't even touch her or she'll get mad."She said, her eyes finally reaching mine.

"Why?"I asked. I haven't heard about a kid only sleeping with just their mother. Usually for a young girl like her, she should be able to sleep with anyone.

"Because she saw something that no little girl should see. There are many reasons why I hide both my kids, Keifer."She said. Kiara slowly woke up and Jay started tending to her.

What did she mean by that? Did someone try and harm her? Was this an ongoing problem?
