Chapter 2

KEIFER POV

I am so sorry Jay. I don't mean what I said or what I did. But I can't bring myself to tell you that. I would rather lie to you then see you hurt. Please Jay. Understand. Or stay safe. Seeing you hurt will break me more.

FLASHBACK

I watched Jay. She was patting herself down. She didn't seem to want anyone to be near her. She was trembling, her face swollen and her arms covered in wounds. Wounds I gave her.

She got up and started walking. Well, stumbling. Everyone went after her. I stayed. The atmosphere was enough for me. However the loneliness was killing me too. This where it all happened. Where I first met Jay. Where I watched her. Admired her. I went after her too. 

Section E wasn't far from the classroom so I caught up quickly. They stood there watching. I watched too. 

Jay held her stomach in pain. She was clearly trying to leave but she was in pain. Why couldn't she look after herself? She always looked after us, meddled in our business. We shouldn't have done this. She had done so much for us and she proved that she would anything. The others didn't have anything to do with it. It was all my fault. If I hadn't started this plan, if I hadn't fought with Aries. What was wrong with me?

 She then turned and threw up in a nearby bin. My heart started beating rapidly. She threw up continuously. We wanted to help her. I wanted to pat her back and beg for her forgiveness but I didn't deserve it. No after what I had done.

"JAY!" We all started calling her. We couldn't do anything. We just watched.

But she didn't listen. Jay looked at her hands and that's when I realised, her hands were soaked in her blood. Jay was throwing up blood. She looked at it, her body lifeless. She was crying faster than ever but didn't make a sound. Jay was incredibly weak looking. But she got up and looked at us. Her hands curled into fists. She was ready to fight. She stared at us for awhile. We watched her in total shock, not making a move. She looked at a nearby baseball bat, something we would play with. She grabbed it. The blood on her hands smeared against the wood of the bat. Her knuckle wounds were clear. Bruises were she punched the wall. She was loosing control of herself and I was terrified.

"No one will hurt me. No will hurt me. I won't let them."Jay said, again and again. She started walking toward us. The closest one to her was CI N. CI N trembled more when Jay marched straight to him. She was about it hit him with the bat before someone grabbed her waist and tugged her backwards. That bat fell on the floor with a thud as she tried to break free from the grip. It was Percy. Percy. Felix's step brother Percy. I knew he was alive. He lived by the name of Percy Rey Mariano. He was related to Jay but I don't how.

He started wiping her face with one hand and held her tight with the other. She tried kicking and hitting to break free but he held tight. They were on the floor, Jay struggling against Percy's grip. He didn't seem to let go or tighten. All he did was say things to her. He was trying console her. Something I couldn't. Something I never did.

"Jay, Sis, Please calm down."Percy begged loudly. He held her tight. She started calming down so Percy slowly let loose of his grip. He wiped her face. Jay was drifting away, about to faint before she threw up on the floor next to her. Her blood now tainted the floor. She threw up more. She started trying harder to be released. Percy however knew how to control her. He held on her tight as he tired to wash her mouth with water in his hand. The water was spilling but he continued until some water got into her mouth. She started choking on it, spitting it out. Was Percy hurting her? My hands curled in fist. She was beating herself while choking. 

Percy turned his body so Jay would face the floor. She started spitting out the water, while fighting against Percy's grip. The water mixed with blood covered the floor. She calmed down. Her fit was because of blood. She seemed to be loosing a lot of blood, which caused her to faint. Percy laid her against the cold floors of Section E. He used her bag as a pillow and called someone. We all watched in complete shock.

"Come now!"Percy said before hanging up. His focus was now on us as he held Jay's body against. Her face was lifeless.

"You better hope she is okay. I come back and I already want to strangle all you."Percy said. 

He turned to Felix and said "Felix, how could you?" His eyes swelled up with tears but he didn't shed any.

PERCY POV

I finally get to meet her and this is what I see. Her being betrayed by people she trusted. I don't care what Keifer was thinking. If he was in trouble, he could have just told her properly. But he decided to tell her after hurt her. David told me everything. How Jay had walked in on Keifer beating someone from their class and then proceeding to hit her. It was because he got jealous. He saw some guy kissing her and then that cursed engagement with Yuri. Those bastards. He then took her to Aries to see if Aries would care about her. What surprises me is that Aries said he didn't but ended up threatening and punching Keifer that same day, after Jay had been taken  to the hospital.

Why have they all changed? Was my absence really that bad? Was I missed that badly? I mean yes, everyone probably missed my handsome face. But seeing my old friends acting like this. It scared me. But I wasn't going to leave. I was going to bring my sister and brother to meet their father. Aries, Jay and me may not have the same blood, but we were siblings. Aries may have been adopted but Uncle Jaspher had told me that he was contacting him. He wanted to reconnect with his fatherly figure. And Uncle was overjoyed. But he wanted to meet Jay and Aries again. And I would make that happen. 

I will make sure my siblings were always safe. That was my promise to myself.
