Namjoon was fairly certain he was not worth much, or anything for that matter. In fact, he had been told this exact thing many times by his friends. Any rational person would not call them friends but rather bullies. Namjoon however, didn't quite understand the difference that relied between friend and foe. In simple words, he was being bullied. The physical violence must have been a red flag but alas, the mind does not always know the signs it is sent.

Before this whole bullying thing, Namjoon had been struggling with his mental health quite a bit. His mind had already forgotten rationality existed and believed everything his bullies fed him.

"You know we don't have to hurt you if you're perfect right? Just loose those pounds and we'll stop. We're just trying to help you."

So Namjoon did, under the watch of his actual friends who hadn't quite understood the thing that was called 'Namjoon is lying about his well-being'. But how could they have known? Namjoon's problems to them were unnamed.
