"So what is your next plan?" Lucas pulled a chair next to Ranaths seat while asking.

They had just come back from the mountain and used various magic spell to deceive the protection barrier and succesfully entered back to his room without any problem.

"First thing first, Athanasia doesn't have any memories in this current timeline." Ranath tapped the desk a few times while in thought.

Lucas showed a sign of unconcealed puzzlement. He didn't hesitate to ask. "That temperamental girl? how come? i still have mine though?" as he goes on, he quickly noticed a problem before furrowing his eyebrows.

Ranath didn't deny it, and the corner of his lips curled up. "I have two theories. That the others also doesn't have theirs because something is involved, or the order of the world is messed up because GOL isn't here and thus causing some having their memories and some are not."

Following Ranath theories, Lucas picked up and added, "The second makes more sense. GOL is the one helping us regaining our memories in every lifetime. It wasn't a surprise for the law to be disrupted."

"I suppose you want to confirm this thoroughly, aren't you?" he's more or less understood Ranath intention.

"Hmm, right. But do you forget? that Quill is still here. I won't put much attention towards it, but we still need to be wary." having saying it, Ranath rested his back onto the chair casually.

"Of course not. Isn't this also one of the reason you wake me up first?" Lucas sneered. He pulled the opposite action of Ranath, leaned infront and rested his palm on his cheek.

"Partially because i want to see you sooner." he teased.

Just as when Lucas about to reply, Ranath cut off the topic and added, "I also need you to interfere with my Father fate. Although he didn't use black magic because i'm still here, my uncle still need to be dealt with."

After recalling for figures he need to contacted, he suddenly remembered someone whose also important. "Oh right, after we deal with uncle, it's best if we also invite Jennette over."

Lucas doesn't really mind dealing with the problems, but after hearing Ranath mentioning the brown haired chimera, Lucas also immediately recalled some certain platinum white haired person."Really Ranath? really?"

"Pfft." Amaranaath almost lose himself for a moment before quickly composed himself back up. "Cough. Ijekiel is also our friend too, alright?"

Lucas tsked and rolled his eyes. "Whatever you want i guess.."

Ranath could only sneer at this laughable scene.

Obelia Empire, in a certain village near the City of Lywien.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Burn! burn! burn!" someone shouted loudly inbetween bombardment. It was an immature voice.

"Hey kid! stop it! you can still escape law punishment if you choose to retreat now!"

The short presence shrouded by gray fog didn't stop even when they heard the threats given. "Shut up! shut up! shut up!" they laughed uncontrollably.

Just a few minutes ago, the peace contained in this small village was burned to ashes. No one knows why the kid suddenly lose control of their magicules, but what's present is a rather large number of mana. Unless a High Priest showed up, only then will the village can be saved from the terror of the kid.

However, not only can't they contact the Capital, it will take a while until the rescuers arrived here. Even if they used the mana circle to teleport here directly, what they'll face then would probably only be a village with ashes.

City of Lywien is only a small city in Obelia Empire. No talents really born here. And they also lack of man power, especially saints that can gave pressure towards this level.

And to their miserable luck, a kid carrying a large sum of mana lose control here.

Not long, this kid will surely go to the City!

"Dammit!" the guard in charge of the City silently cursed before turning around to face his colleague.

"Just what happened that made this kid lose control?!" the guy named Radient hurriedly asked. Not only his task were stuck in this city, he can't even properly carried out his duty to be ordered into somewhere else!

His colleague raised both arms and crossed it infront of his face, blocking out some of the impact. He struggled to even gave a response. "They said the Chief had sold his brother to the slave traders! not only his brother, some were also sold away.."

After listening to this short but clear explanation, Radient cursed once again under pressure. "Tsk! i knew that Chief is problematic from the moment signs were showing up! the upper echelons literally didn't pay any attention towards this matter!" Radient couldn't help but cursed the poor government.

He even thought that the Emperor abandoned the City just because he couldn't care less about a corrupted City made by nobles.

"We seriously need to report regarding this matter towards the Main Palace.."

As Radient mumbled, he was cut off by his colleague. "But! the problem currently is how to deal with this kid! who knows if we can make it out alive to report the problems.."

Just as he said this, they both noticed something. The little boy had suddenly paused unknowingly.

He was looking up in the sky in bewilderment, as if he's looking at a God or a majestic being.

Instinctively, the two guard also raised their head to look at what the boy looking that causing him to stop his actions.

However, they failed to see anything.Has he gone senile?.. he's already been to begin with..

Both of them tensed up when they saw the boy smiled widely as if he's been possessed.

They heard clearly what the boy howled.

"My God! you've returned!"

***

Underground Slave market, Slyndia.

The young boy with chained hands is thrown harshly into the cell with other young kids. Unlike the others, he's not as panicked and just picked up himself and walked towards the corner of the cell.

Although it might seemed he's trying not to stand out, his fate says otherwise.

He heard the slave trader outside very clearly, as they were also pointing their index fingers at him unbothered."That boy hair is really unique. He's one of the best product we earned this far. I'm sure he will get sold at a high price."

He also noticed gazes of sympathy, gazes of anger, and gazes of envy from his surroundings.

However, the boy quietly leaned back on the wall. With his tattered and dirty clothes, he tried to cover up the open wound on his wrist.

In this place, only those with high quality is favored.

The look of sympathy is mostly because with that appearance, who knows how will he ended up. Therefore, some pitied him for his cruel fate and life.

The look of anger are from those whose annoyed with his presence. Some were also combined with the looks of envy.

The look of envy are from those who'd been staying here with no one knows how long. They weren't sold because they aren't attractive enough, isn't special enough, isn't capable enough.

They knew with that appearance, the boy will be at least treated a little bit nicer than them as to keep his beauty intact.

Everyone always thought in desparation, that maybe they could get sold to a kind and caring master. It was a rather vacant hope of them.

But in this place of torture and suffering, anyone would dream a light of hope.

So when they saw someone with a 100% being sold out, they couldn't help but feel envy.

Sensing their abnormal gazes, the young boy paused his actions of bandaging himself. He raised his head to meet the gazes.

Their eyes met with a pair of vacant deep black eye.

Subconciously, some of them stiffened. Some of them trembled. And some of them drifted their gazes away instantly.

It was every creature instincts.

Danger.

The boy lowered his head back, and slowly exhaled. He suppresed his voice, and with a shaky tone, called out someone desperately. "Brother.."

***

Ruby Palace, inside Athanasia chamber.

Athanasia stood there with a puzzled face, staring at the two present. One she's familiar with, giving her a rather suspicious smile, and another who she doesn't even know existed.

Lucas, with his arms closed, shifted his gaze over to Ranath whose besides him. While pointing out to Athy, he abruptly said, "Do i really need to meet this rascal?"

Athy of course is angered. She doesn't even know who is this boy that seemingly at the same age as her brother, and now he's calling him a rascal!

With a pouty face Athy replied frankly, "Dude, i swear to God i'll jumped on you. Who even are you?"

The two fell silent. While having the same exact thought. Yeah right, go swear to 'God'.

Lucas is stunned in place while still looking at the short girl infront of him. "Damn you're actually right. This girl doesn't have any of her memories."

Ranath shrugged off and with a smile calmly replied. "Why would i joke around anyway? have you lost your mind my dearest Lucas?"

Lucas and Athy immediately sweeped their gazes at him. One being flustered and the other being puzzled as hell, almost furrowing her eyebrows.

Seeing that no one will continue the conversation, Ranath finally take the initiative."You still remember what i told you before right? my dear sister," he deliberately also added 'dear' while calling her as to not make things awkward.

Athy snapped out of her senses and nodded seriously.

Ranath placed a finger on his chin and closed his eyes as if lost in thought. When making up his mind, he snapped his fingers. He got a pretty funny ideas in his head.

Still with a suspicious smile plastered on his face, Ranath continued. "I will give you back some of your memories from the other lifetime. I can't restore it all since it greatly consume my mana, but this will be enough for now."

Upon saying it, Ranath reached his index finger on Athy's head. Strangely, Athy did not dodge since she didn't feel any dangerous intent.

A light appeared beneath the fingers as Athy slowly closed her eyes as to discern the information brought to her by her brother.

Only a few seconds later, Athy jolted awake and jumped away in horror. With a bewildered eyes, she shakily pointed her fingers at Lucas and blurted out."THIS BURNED SPAGHETTI IS MY LOVE INTEREST IN THAT 'LIFETIME'???"

"Pffft." Ranath immediately covered his mouth completely unbothered.

Lucas were also shocked Ranath showed 'that' lifetime to Athy and couldn't help but glare at him unpleased. Even more with Athy mocking nickname."WHAT did YOU call ME??" of course he couldn't afford to withstand such mockery thrown infront of his face.

He also managed to steal a glance at Ranath. "Above all of the lifetime, why would you show THAT ONE??????!"

With a disgusted look on her face, almost as if she wants to throw a chair at Lucas, she blurted out once more. "Eewwww why would i even be with this old man!? or worse, grandpa!!"

"Brother, at least show me a lifetime where i become a cool tough girl or something!" she couldn't hide her anticipation.

Ranath paused before his gaze warmed up slowly. You never change Athy..

They continued on having a childish quarrel while Ranath stood quietly watching this familiar scene.

He laughed out loud before wiping the tiny tear on the corner of his eyes resulted from his intense laughter.

He clapped his hands and finally ordered. "Alright, alright, that's enough both of you."

He glanced at Athy and said, "At least you finally know who he is, right?"

They both somehow followed him and stopped fighting. Though, Lucas still with his annoyed face trashed his face away. Athy still managed to look at her brother and deliberately said. "More or less! what i understand is that he's an annoying old man."

Lucas drifted his gaze back towards Athy. "Look at yourself, we're only a few hundred years apart!"

Athy rolled her eyes regardless. She swiftly changed the topic. "About that brother, do you intent on gathering the others? what will you do afterwards?"

She added, "We doesn't even know what happened with GOL.."

Ranath nodded slightly. Suddenly, he turned a little more serious and pressed. "I have a prophecy. The upcoming future is dangerous. Latent danger is still lurking around." he pursed his lips.

Lucas had already expected it, so he doesn't have any obvious changes in expression. While Athy on the other hand, frowned with this statement.

!

The window opened up forcefully resulted from the strong wind, as such, it also blows upon the three figures. However, the three have bigger issues right now that they couldn't be concerned with the window.

"I will try to contact Death in the upcoming future to confirm things. However, i need to restore my previous strength first do i have the confidence to face 'him' in a face to face conversation."

Athy nodded while still lost in thoughts.

Lucas also added his post in this part. "I will also try to suppress the Quill influence to a certain extent. It's a little bothersome, but i can manage it a bit until Ranath restore his strength. I can't deal with the Quill alone."

After showing approvement, Ranath also cast his gaze at Athy."I'll gave you an artifact made by me and Lucas, your job is to slowly remove Aeternitas influence on Uncle. We can try to remove it immediately, but the side effect is too strong. We can only try a slower method."

Athy nodded, indicating that she have no problems with it. "Brother, be careful. And you too, burned grandpa. Although my problem is all because he's simping for you."

Lucas forced a smile.

***

Weather Forest, west from the Capital.

The bush moved around, a clear sound of step, and heavy panting is heard clearly.

Drip, drip, drip.

Since early in the morning, the entire Capital area is raining non stop.

This is weather forest. Extreme weather is often created here, making this not suitable for living creatures to built up their fireplace. Except for magical beast, of course. To them, it was a perfect place.

They said that whenever the Forest have intense weather going on, the whole Capital would be also affected. Although no one really find evidence of the matters.

The forest is surrounded by a deep fog, which resulted in others openly harmed with the hidden beasts lurking around.

The Imperial knights, magician from the tower, and even Emperor from the past had tried to dissisipate the fog multiple times, but it won't even slightly affected.

It is a strictly kept, forbidden area.

And now, we've heard the breathing sound of human.

A small legs came out from the fog, before completely showing up as a whole body. It was a young boy wearing tattered clothes, with dirt and scars all over his body. He's only paired with a silver sword, who knows where he'd gotten them.

The short presence have strange green hair that already extends to his shoulder. He looks as if he had came out from a very foreign place.

After stepping out from the forest, the boy dropped his silver sword and finally take a breather.

After composing himself for a while, he looked up and stare directly towards the large, shining Capital from above. The Center of Obelia Empire, Capital Of Jewels.

"Huff.." he sighed.

He finally arrived to his destination.
