Chapter 30

"Hyunjinnie, I wanna be your boyfriend."

Next day at school, lunch time,

The lunch hall was noisy and busy as any other day. Han was back to school, he didn't want his lovely evening time with Lee Know to end, but Lee Know assured him that they'd still spend time together. And whether or not Han had admitted it, he wanted to see Hyunjin as soon as he could. He missed him so much.

Lee Know sat next to Han and both of them smiled at each other, focusing back on their food when Chan, Seungmin, IN and Changbin joined them. Lee Know looked around confused for Felix, who wasn't here yet.

Meanwhile, Felix was hiding next to the entrance of the lunch hall, keeping an eye out for Hyunjin.

Hyunjin had a habit of blending in, looking like he didn't exist, but today would be different.

As soon as Hyunjin stepped in the lunch hall, Felix jumped up and grabbed his wrist causing Hyunjin to flinch. "Oh my God! Felix! You made my soul leave my body!" Hyunjin said dramatically.

Felix chuckled and said, "You are sitting with us today, our table is for eight people, not seven."

Hyunjin frowned and said, "Will they be ok with that? Me suddenly jumping back into their life?"

"It's not their life, it's yours. And anyways, Han and Lee Know are really eager to meet you... Not to mention that Lee Know actually looks excited."

Hyunjin smiled and nodded looking at the floor as Felix lead him to their table.

Hyunjin's breath caught when Felix made him sit down next to him and Lee Know. Han froze in his spot and an awkward silence took over the table.

Hyunjin didn't dare look up at anyone. He pinched his hand under the table. For some reason he was feeling scared.

Felix kept a hand on Hyunjin's thigh under the table making Hyunjin look up. Felix gave him an encouraging smile.

Hyunjin gulped giving a small curt nod and looked up. Opposite to them were sitting Bang Chan, Seungmin, IN and Chamgbin. Lee Know was to his left and Han was next to Lee Know.

They all stared at each other. Hyunjin felt like this was a bad idea. Felix was the first to go back to eating his lunch. Everyone started eating except for Hyunjin, who didn't have lunch as usual.

Bang Chan's brow knit together as he said, "Hyunjin... Ever since I started sitting here, have you been bringing your own lunch?"

Hyunjin gulped and pulled at his collar feeling sweat beads trail down his neck to his chest. Hyunjin had just stopped eating lunch when Chan sat at the other table, it wasn't like Hyunjin had any other choice.

Seungmin frowned noticing how Hyunjin hadn't replied yet and said, "You need to eat more Hyunjin."

Hyunjin nodded a little and looked down, not sure what to say. Suddenly, he had a spoonful of rice shoved towards his face. Hyunjin looked up surprised to see Lee Know holding up the spoon with a fond smile.

Hyunjin felt his lips twitch upwards but held back the smile. He had missed this. Hyunjin quietly took a bite from the spoon and suddenly, the whole table was talking again. Everyone occasionally sharing their food with Hyunjin, except for Changbin and Han.

Han was still nervous to talk to his older brother while Changbin was just hungry. IN said, "I missed you Hyungie."

Hyunjin finally smiled and whispered softly, "I missed you all too."

Han suddenly shot up from his seat and shouted, "You better give me a hug now or I'm going to scream!" Everyone at the table laughed while Hyunjin blinked. Felix gently pushed Hyunjin from his chair who hesitantly got up and quickly gave Han a hug.

Hyunjin may have cried. But we won't talk about that.

He was gald to be back. He was glad to be back with his friends. And he was glad that he could look after Han again.

Time skip after school,

After their very recent reunion, including the addition of Seungmin and Chan to the group, they all decided to meet up after school to hang out together.

After twenty minutes of a loud discussion in the school garden, they decided to go bowling. All of them except Hyunjin texted their parents they'd be late home.

The maknae line went first, starting from Changbin and IN.

(A/N: Age order, eldest to youngest, Chan, Lee Know, Hyunjin, Seungmin, Han, Felix, Changbin, IN.)

Changbin flexed his muscles while IN rolled his eyes. Chan and Seungmin were cheering the two while Felix and Han were laughing. Hyunjin was sitting on the backrest of the couch smiling to himself while Minho stood behind Hyunjin. Not that Hyunjin was aware of that.

Changbin twirled around and threw the ball forward, only to trip and faceplant on the floor. The ball skidded to a side and not a single pin was knocked down. Everyone burst out in laughter except for Hyunjin who was smiling widely.

IN said with a sigh, "You dummy. Flex your muscles all you want, this game is about technique, not strength." Jeongin snickered and threw the ball, which rolled and knocked all the pins except for two. Jeongin snickered in victory when Changbin shouted. Changbin chased after Jeongin who continued to tease the older.

Everyone looked at the two confused. Jeongin looked more happy to annoy Changbin then actually win... Felix sighed and shouted, "My turn!"

Han cheered for Felix as he jumped on Lee Know's back for a piggy back ride. Lee Know stumbled forward in surprise and bumped into Hyunjin. Lee Know gained his composure while Hyunjin fell forward on the floor.

Hyunjin whined and said, "Wait! Yongbokah I can't see the pins, don't throw yet!"

Felix looked at Hyunjin and snickered who in return pouted and crossed his arms. Felix said, "Get up already!" Hyunjin said, "But I like to see you laugh." Felix rolled his eyes and got a serious expression on his face, "Good now? Get up."

Hyunjin huffed and stared at Felix's eyes. Felix felt his brain falter and go blank looking into Hyunjin's eyes. Felix felt his ears get red when Han shouted, still on Minho's back, "Either get a room or go back to playing."

Felix blushed and turned around throwing the ball as Hyunjin said, "Oh I would love to play."

Minho chuckled while Seungmin and Chan sighed. Chan said, "These two should go on a double date." Seungmin said, "I seriously think this is a quadruple date." Chan frowned, "Poor Innie and Binnie." Seungmin chuckled, "They aren't poor, you are." "Hey!" Chan shouted and attacked Seungmin with tickles, who doubled over in laughter, kicking his feet around on the floor.

Meanwhile, Han and Lee Know were having a silent conversation. Lee Know said, "Next time, warn me before you jump on me, I don't want back problems as a teenager."

"Awe, sorry you big softie, my leg hurts." Han cooed. Lee Know looked annoyed at first but immediately set Han down on the couch and asked, "It hurts?" Han shook his head with a smile, "Not too much, just enough to give me an excuse to ride your back." Minho smiled at Han and shook his head.

"What am I going to do with you." Minho said, tucking a strand of hair behind Han's ear. Han smiled and said, "Love me dummy."
