Part 30

00:49, 17 October 2014

(Just saying, before I write this part, I'm changing the transformation thingy a bit, since Rin and Kurama are already sorta friends, read on!)

Rin's POV

As rage filled me, I could feel something happening. My eyesight was suddenly becoming sharper, I could feel my teeth elongating in my mouth, furry ears grew at the top of my head, and I sprouted a puffy orange fox tail. I was confused. Greatly. "What's going on!?" I asked out loud..Even Haku seemed sort of surprised. "Well kid, I don't want to die just yet, so shut up and take the chakra." Kurama said, seemingly amused. Before I could ask him anything, I was whisked back to reality.

Haku was staring at me with his mouth open, I wasn't surprised, cause I was kind of half fox right now. Red chakra was seeping out of my body. I charged at Haku, yelling at him for hurting my team mates. Two minutes later, he was sitting on the ground half dead.

I growled, but lowered my fist, which was inches before his face. The red chakra seeped back into my body, as I calmed down. The fox features remained however.

-Time skip! (I really don't want to type out the entire speech Haku gives)-

Sensei's hand was peieced through not Zabuza, but Haku's chest. My eyes widened. He would do all that, for him? As Haku died, and as Zabuza started going rage mode on Gato, I walked over to Sasuke, who was lying on the ground with Sakura sobbing her eyes out over him. "Sakura, get off you'll kill him. He's not dead yet." I said, gently shoving her off. She watched me with teary eyes as I gently pulled out the needles. After summoning Soul to heal him, he sat up groggily.

Sakura, being the girl that she is, tackled him and started crying again. Sasuke's eyes connected briefly with mine, as he mouthed a quick thanks. I sighed, watching the sadness as Zabuza laid next to Haku. At least those two could die together.

-Traveling back to Konohagakure-

"Zayum Rin-sama, you look like Amaya the fox summon!" Soul squealed, pawing at my fluffy tail. "Eh! Leave my poor tail alone!" I grumbled, shooing her back to her wolf friends. "Wait, why do you have a fox tail anyways?" Sakura asked. Sasuke raised his brows too, slightly interested. Sensei helped answer that. "It's hard to explain." He quickly said, in a tone that had to space for argument.

I sighed. I'd been trying to focus the chakra away from the animal features for about 5 minutes already. It finally worked, as they melted back into my flesh. Just in time too. We'd arrived at the konoha gate. After we greeted Izumo and Kotetsu, sensei poofed off to go file the report. "See ya guys." I said with a quick wave, heading home.
