chapter 23

Kaito and Akako is doing a live stream in a coffee shop owned by Momiji. Akako is busy reading comments while Kaito can't stop staring and admiring her.

"So Kaito..." she looks at him.

"What can you say about Shinichi and Akeno's breakup?" She asked.

"Ohhh... I don't want to say anything but I know they're still good friends and that's important." He smiled at the camera.

"You think being friends with your ex is ok?" She asked.

"Yeah. As long as you both are in good terms you can be friends."

"Nah I don't think so. I never end up being friends with my exes."

Kaito laughs.

"It's really depends on the ex lovers if they wanted to continue the friendship or not."

"Hmm... in my case, my exes always cheated so I never wanna be friends with them like never ever! I don't think it's a good idea still being friends with your ex. When they realized and regret what they've done, they'll ask for your forgiveness then begged on their knees to come back in your life again and break your heart like they used to do."

"Did you experience that?" He curiously asked.

She raised her eyebrows and smiled.

"I still can't believe that your exes cheated when they got you..." he blushed.

"Awwww...." she smile sweetly.

"I mean it." He winks.

After streaming the two keeps chatting until Kaito's phone vibrate. He looks at the screen and see unregistered number is calling him. He looks at Akako.

"Why don't you answer it?" Akako asked.

"I don't know who it is." He answered.

"Maybe it's important?"

"Well let see..."

He answered it.

"Hello? Who's this?" He asked.

Akako watched him. Kaito smiled.

"How are you Aoko? Well I'm also fine. Yeah" he laughs.

'Who's Aoko and why he seems happy talking to that Aoko.' Her thoughts.

She gets her phone and make herself busy, Momiji sit next to her.

"Hey." Momiji said.

"Are you done with the live stream today?" Momiji asked.

"I think so." Akako keeps typing on her phone.

"Let's go shopping? I think I needed a new bag."

"You just brought a bag yesterday what are you saying?"

"I brought it for my maid because yesterday was her birthday."

"You have to treat me if you wanted me to join you shopping." Akako joke.

"Why don't cha ask your boyfriend to treat you?" Momiji asked and then looks at Kaito.

Kaito looks in Momiji and then to Akako, he suddenly blushed.

"Momiji we're not dating alright... we're good friends right Kaito?" Akako smiled.

Kaito smiled and nods.

Meanwhile...

Shiho is in a private restaurant meeting a Hollywood agent named Jeremy L. Cooper. She's been showing Shinichi's portfolio. There's a head shots and body shots inside and his resume's on it. There's also a video of him acting. The Hollywood agent is looking at his photos Shiho present. She's watching Jeremy's reaction. She can tell He's impressed.

"Well?" She speak.

Jeremy looks at her.

"He's good looking but I haven't watch him act so i just can't decide yet." He smiled.

"After this meeting are you gonna back in L.a?" She asked.

"I'll be staying for a while."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah."

"You better watch the video when you get back in your hotel." She commands.

He laughs.

"Hey I'll be watching it alright. Please be patient." He smiled.

"I can't wait. I hate waiting."

"May I know what's the reason why you're helping this guy? You know I can help you to get in the Hollywood without any audition right?"

"I'm not in the mood to deal Hollywood sh*t so I wanted to help him besides he's really a good actor and he deserves more recognition and acknowledgement as an actor."

"Ohhh...."

"He's actually my boyfriend." She lower her voice making sure no one can hear her.

"Wow."

"If he gets in the Hollywood and you manage him don't you ever set him up on a fake pr."

"Yeah Ofcourse. I'm scared of you I know your capable." He laughs.

The meeting ended Shiho thank him and she went outside the restuarant and get inside the elevator and there's Ryusuke inside the elevator too. It's just the two of them. Shiho gets her phone to ignore her ex boyfriend.

"Shi... can we talk?" He asked.

But Shiho keeps typing on her phone.

"I'm sorry for hurting you. For all the bad things I've done Please forgive me?" He looks at her.

"I missed you and I've always think about you every single day. I missed having you by my side Shiho. I missed spending time with yo—"

Shiho looks at him. She can't bear  hearing his lies anymore.

"You just want me back because she left you. Because you think I'm stupid enough to take you back? Well I'm not." She said.

"No! No... I want you back because i still love you." He said. He holds her hand.

Shiho laughs, she removed his hands to hers.

"Love? You don't even love me coz if you really love me you'll never secret our relationship in the public! You won't be ashamed of me. You will be proud of me because I'm your girl but no." She smiled.

"I thought I'll never get over you but I did! I can live without you. I regret one thing... I should've never begged for you to come back in my life because you're a cheater, a liar, a user and no wants deserves someone like you." She said.

The elevator door open and Shiho walk away but Ryusuke keeps following her.

"What? You think someone will take you in a serious relationship? You're just good in bed, you can fulfill men's  sexual need but you're not a wife material type." He said.

She just keep walking.

"KEEP THAT IN MIND SL*T!" He yelled.

Shiho went straight to the parking lot. She rides in her car and lit up her cigarette. Tears run down her face. She wiped them and then drive away to her mansion.
