chapter 2

Shinichi wakes up earlier than the usual time he wakes up. He gets up and fix his bed. He get his phone to call his Mother. A few rings then she finally answered.

"Hello Mom?"

"Hi Shin Chan! How's the first day of Shooting?" She happily asked.

"Great. But I'm so exhausted yesterday but I'm now preparing for the 2nd day of shoot. I'm excited!" He said.

"Shuichi told me that you have to be close to your leading lady?" She asked.

"Yeah he did." Shinichi cooly answered.

"Does he told you that he's talking to her Manager to have a fake relationship?"

"Wh-what?!?" He's shocked.

"Well fake pr is natural in this industry... people likes the team pairing to end up dating. Paparazzi's are hungry to get gossip on two pairs, also the film you're making will increase more popularity since the two of you are the protagonist isn't it?" She asked.

Yukiko Kudo is once an actress but she gave up on acting when she met his Husband Yusaku Kudo who's a director, she decided to stay out of the spotlight and live a simple life with her family. Shinichi was inspired by his Mother, he wanted to fulfill his Mother's dream and become a famous actor.

"I see... but I heard that Shiho is you know... she has an attitude and I don't think she'll agree on that. I'll gain more fans while dating her but she won't get anything from me." He said.

"Leave that to Shuichi... it's his Job to convinced them! Anyway if she and her team turns down it's there loss. You're the next big thing!" She proudly said.

Shinichi chuckled. After chatting his Mom over the phone, he do his daily morning routine. Kaito fetched him using Kaito's own car. They headed to the studio. They went out of the car and went inside the studio. They see everyone is preparing and setting the props. Shinichi went in the corner and see Masumi waiting for him.

"Hey these are the clothes you're going to use." She said.

"Thanks." Shinichi said.

Kaito looks around.

"Where's my Goddess?" Kaito asked searching for Shiho.

"She's not here yet. I bet she's going here late, that's her thing anyway." Masumi said.

Shinichi sit down on his chair. Masumi looks at him.

"Did you memorize your lines?" She asked curiously.

Shinichi nods as an answer.

"Good. Prepare yourself, the director's mood isn't good right now." She said.

Kaito looks at her.

"What happened?" Asked Kaito.

"Well... I heard that this film will be sent as a contender at Cannes film Festival this year so it's a pressure for the director and actors as well." She answered.

"Contender at the Cannes?" Shinichi is shocked.

Masumi smiled.

"Your big break and first lead role will be great!" She said.

"Just relax Shinichi! Do your best!" She added.

Kaito tap Shinichi's shoulder.

"I'm so proud of you bro!" Kaito smiled.

The director started calling the actors and actresses.

"WHERE THE HECK IS SHIHO AT?" The director yelled.

Everyone looks around and didn't find her.

"My Gosh! She's acting like a DIVA again!" The director said and she's obviously upset.

The assistant of director is trying to contact Shiho.

"I can't contact her Ma'am!" The assistant said.

"Too bad we can't fired that b*tch! She had a strong connection from the Boss." The director complained.

They started filming without Shiho. They didn't want to waste any time waiting for her. They needed to finish the film so they can pass their work on time for the Cannes festival.

They film Shinichi's action scenes and Kaito as his stuntman. After making the scenes over and over they have a 30 minutes break. They are resting in their dressing room.

"Do you think my Goddess will be here?" Kaito asked.

Masumi looks at him.

"She's not a Goddess. She's just a human being like us." She roll her eyes.

Kaito looks at her with the 'How-dare-you-to-say-that?' look.

"But she look like one." He smiled widely.

"I have her poster in my room where she's wearing a bathing suit damn... she's such a perfect Goddess." He added.

"Pervert." Both Shinichi and Masumi said in the same time.

They went back to the Studio and wait for the director to come back. Shiho and Ran went inside the studio. Shiho see them on the corner. She walk towards them, Ran followed her. Kaito stand up and smiled at Shiho

"Hi." Kaito said.

Kaito is dumbfounded by Shiho's beauty, he can't stop staring. Shinichi face palm because he feel embarrassed for his bestfriend. He stand up too.

"He's name is Kaito." Shinichi said nicely.

Ran smiled at them.

"I'm Ran... nice to meet you." Said Ran.

"Hi Shiho!" Kaito said.

Shiho looks at him.

"I'm a part time stuntman and a full time romantic." Kaito winks at her.

Shiho ignored his comment and put her hand from Shinichi's jean pants pocket. He is surprised from her sudden action. She gets his phone and save her phone number. She bring it back to Shinichi and walk away. Ran looks at them and then followed Shiho.

Kaito looks at Shinichi.

"WOW! Did she save her number?" He asked.

Shinichi looks at his contact and see a new contact is registered on his phone book with the name 'Call Me xo'The director when back and they resume filming.

After filming Masumi calls Shinichi.

"Shuichi texted me that the Boss wanted to see you." She said.

Shinichi looks at her.

"The boss?" He asked.

"Yeah. The boss. He wanted to see you. He owned this studio and he's one of the most powerful and influential person in this industry. He can make you a star and he can also ruin your career, depends on how you treat him. so be careful in front of him." Masumi warned.

"Have you met him?" He nervously asked.

"No but that's what Shuichi told me." She answered honestly.

Shinichi changed his clothes and went to the Office of the Boss. He's now standing in the door. He's feeling nervous because of how Masumi said earlier about the boss. He knocks at the door. A woman opened it.

"The boss is waiting for you." She said.

She went outside and let Shinichi inside the room. Shinichi went inside and walks in. The room is very clean and everything is organized. Shinichi see the Boss sitting on his chair looking at him. He has a long silver hair, he's wearing a black suit and he's like in his 40s. He looks intimidating and mysterious.

"Nice to see you Mr Kudo." The boss smiled.

Shinichi looks at him. He see a high class desk name plate on the table.'Jin Kurosawa - The Boss' was written on it.

"Please have a seat." He added.

Shinichi obeyed him and smiled at him.

"Thank you boss." He said.

"Alot of people likes you. Yesterday you were trending, my assistant told me." He compliments.

Shinichi smiled.

"You seems like a good man. I like you!" Jin chuckled.

"I'll help you to be more famous, I just have 1 favour..."

Shinichi looks at him.

"What is it Boss?" He asked.

"Don't get too attached to my Baby." Jin coldly said.

'Baby?' His thoughts.

Jin smiled at him.

"I don't like when Someone's get close to her and she gets attached to them. I really do hate it." Jin gives him a serious look.

"You know who is it right?" He asked.

Shinichi just nods.

"Let's drink to celebrate your fame!" He said.

After drinking and talking to the boss, Shinichi went home. He took a shower.

'Baby? Then Shiho must be his Sugar baby? That makes sense when our Director said she had a strong connection with the boss...' his thoughts.
