Flashback

"Hello, Thea?". Seokjin spoke quietly. "Yes, oppa. It's me." Thea replied, her voice confused to why he called her suddenly specially at this time when she was literally alone and missing Taehyung.

He often calls Taehyung to ask about her health and if she has been well or not, he takes care of her more like her elder brother than just a doctor.

"How have you been?", he asked "I'm fine, just wondering around cuz Taehyung is struck in traffic". She replied with a chuckle.

"Thea...listen carefully to what I'm going to tell you now". Thea stayed still hearing his serious tone "y-yes oppa..?" She said nervously.

"Thea....your reports has been out..and..." His voice was nervous and quite making Thea curious out of suspense.

"And what oppa?"

"It's either you or your baby, Thea..."

Thea heart stopped beating for a second, she wasn't ready to believe what he was saying "U-uh, oppa what are you saying? I don't understand..." Fear was clearly in her voice and seokjin heart clinched painfully hearing it.

"Thea...you're like a little sister to me, I won't ever want you to take stress in this condition but your reports are out now...and your body is far too weak to give birth to baby and above that you have high blood pressure which can lead to having lots of blood loss during delivery...I can't tell this to Taehyung..

He won't be able to bear it Thea, you're his everything and he might act tough all the time but his well being is completely dependent on you and that's why I didn't said this to him but you". Seokjin said, She knows he is telling the truth

She knows Taehyung won't be able to take this news well and can end up doing something terrible to himself like last time which she doesn't want. She stayed silent looking at nowhere when seokjin spoke again.

"Thea I have a way to take you out of this.." she gulped as she whispered "what's the way?"

"Abortion....abort the baby and you'll alive and I'll make sure to make you completely fine again but if you choose to save the baby...then your life won't be guaranteed."

"The choice is yours"

"No...." A painful sob broke out of her mouth, she immediately threw her phone on the floor with her shaky hand as she covered her mouth.

"No please...not my baby god...not my baby..." Her whimpers were loud as she cried out loud

At that movement she realised something...this was her karma...she was getting punished for her sin of loving someone who was forbidden for her but she couldn't make up her mind to let that innocent life inside her suffer because of her

She got the flashbacks of these nine months, those late night talks with her baby, those kicks which was both a little painful but euphoric at the same time, those nights when Taehyung would talk with her baby bump, sing for the baby or read stories saying that the baby must be listening to him attentively.

A painful chuckle escaped her lips when she remembered all those movements, the most beautiful moments of her life.

Seokjin's words were still ringing in her ear as she sobbed but suddenly felt two arms around her from behind and the amount of her pain reduced instantly hearing his deep voice.

"I missed you"

At that movement she knew whom she is going to choose...

Present

Taehyung rushed inside the hospital like a maniac, his hair disheveled and his eyes red.

"No no no, not my Thea, not my love...no.." he mumbled to his own self like a crazy person, chanting the same thing again and again.

The operating room flew open with a loud thud as Taehyung ran towards where Thea was silently crying while oxygen mask was covering her mouth.

"Thea, my baby....what's happening tell me...huh? Tell me please...I'm going crazy" he said desperately clutching Thea's small hand tightly like his life depends on it.

Looking at him Thea broke down in tears more, she cupped one side of his face as Taehyung was on the edge of breaking down. He wasn't thinking straight, all he knew was he needed her with him at any cost

"Forgive me Taehyung..." Thea whispered, her voice was trembling knowing now......it was last time....last time of her seeing him because she doesn't know what happens in afterlife...

"Forgive me for not being strong enough, love. I tried....I really tried....but I failed every time I tried to be with you because god himself is against our love....we sinned by loving each other Tae...

But trust me..I don't regret a single movement i spent loving you cuz I meant it when I said I love you to deat-"

A loud sob broke out of his mouth as he removed her oxygen mask and attached his lips on her, his whole body start trembling as he sobbed harder "Don't complete that word Thea...you can't leave me....you can't...you promised.."

Seokjin in the room walked out not being able to see Taehyung like that, the other nurses also walked out giving them their last movements to be with each other, they tried...so hard to save both baby and the mother but Thea, as per seokjin predicted end up losing a lots of blood and her condition was worse now after operating.

It's not first time they have seen something like this but it's also the first time they have seen something like this where the father begged on his knees to save the mother..

"I love you, I'll fucking follow you to death if that's what it will take for me to be with you my baby....do you think you can escape me? Never....never Thea...never till my soul is not destroyed itself because it will keep finding you in life or after life.... it's incomplete without its other half" Taehyung was continuosly crying against her lips, their forehead attached as they cried together.

"Please take care of the baby Taehyung, we sinned but please don't punish our baby for our sin....he's not wrong... please beg Irene aunt to give him the love of a mother" Taehyung, was silent while tears were still streaming down his eyes falling on Thea's cheeks

"Thea..." Her breath start getting heavy as the heart monitor start beeping. "I love you Taehyung I-" before she could complete her sentence he slammed his lips on her before saying

"Forgive me my baby but there's no me without you"

And a loud bang was heard in the whole hospital..

Nurses, doctors, receptionist ran inside the operating room with horror written on on their faces just to see the them sleeping peacefully.

Seokjin stayed numb on his place staring at Taehyung who's upper body was leaning beside Thea's body who has stopped breathing.

Her eyes were closed like she was peacefully sleeping in Taehyung's presence but his eyes were still open... staring at her face like he was just admiring her sleeping form

the pillow below them was covered in his blood and a pistol was laying on the floor near Taehyung's shoe.

Seokjin swallowed a shaky breath as he turned around with his eyes red in tears to look at the woman who was holding the baby....

Her face was expressionless as she just witnessed something which she already knew she will.....

"He wasn't strong enough"

Saying that she walked out of there holding the baby close to her, leaving the dead lovers alone with eachother.

She just did not witness a man taking his life to be with his love, she witnessed her husband dying for another girl without a second thought because her husband was never hers in the first place...

He was always Thea's Taehyung..
