"Help me with melting this butter in that pan if you want thea". Irene purred, a big wide smile on her face as she was baking cake for Taehyung.

Thea was just standing there looking at everything, she nodded taking out the pan.

"I'm sure Taehyung is going love this strawberry cake". She said in a cheerful voice. Thea was just melting the butter silently focusing on her work.

Nothing and no one was making her feel better, everything seemed so lifeless for some reason but she was focusing on her studies these days to divert her mind.

For the first time in a while she decided to come infront of Irene and ask her if she can help her in baking the cake for Taehyung because if not directly then even while staying behind the scene she wanted to do something for him on his birthday.

He was out since early morning as always, She continue to do her work and gave Irene the melted butter.

She was about to walk out when she heard Irene whining "Oh god...why always me" Thea turned back to see Irene standing there while looking irritated.

"What happen?". Irene turned towards Thea with a frown, "There's no chocolate syrup in this bottle and no vanilla essence, I need to tell someone to bring it from the grocery store".

Thea thought something for a minute before saying "I can buy it for you instead aunty as I was about to go out to take a morning walk". She wanted to take fresh air outside because she was feeling suffocated staying in one place where there was no one who can listen to her.

"Thank you so much Thea, I'll tell Alex to accompany you-"

"No need aunty, I want to go alone" she declared, leaving no room for further talk. Irene open her mouth to say something but sighed "okay as you wish".

Thea pov

I took a deep breath pulling my jacket closer to my chest, it was snowing outside but I was loving this weather so much. It reminds me of home.

I brought all the necessary things for cake from the nearest grocery store, and by near i mean at least half an hour away because mansion is located in between forest and away from the city.

I was already so tired from all the walking so I decided to take a cab for going back.

I booked a cab online and the app says that it will be here in 10 minutes. I sighed, now I'll have to wait for few minutes.

Suddenly I heard loud voices coming from somewhere near, I frowned seeing people run in a direction.

My brain said to ignore them and just mind my own business but something inside me was saying to just follow them and at least see what was happening out of curiosity.

I thought for a second before fianlly my feets made their way towards the crowd.

I reached there but there were too many people standing in a circle and someone was yelling loudly in between.....that voice was familiar.....

My eyes slightly winded when I heard another shout, without thinking too much I start pushing people to go infront of the crowd.

And my blood froze when I saw what was happening.

Taehyung....his lips were bleeding and he looked completely like a Satan right now, no one was having the guts to stop him as he was beating a man who almost was on the verge of loosing his life.

My breath start getting heavy in fear seeing his this side.....he was looking like a psychopath..

"HOW FUCKING DARE YOU TO SAY SHIT ABOUT HER YOU MOTHERFUCKER!". i flinched badly hearing his shouts as he was continuously punching that man and choking him.

"Oh my god we need to call police, that psycho man will kill him". I panicked when a lady beside me took out her phone in hurry.

I held her hand while shaking my head "Please mam, please don't call police I'll stop him please" I said, tears were already streaming down my face in fear.

"Young lady you can't go near him he looks dengerous". I shooked my head "Nothing will happen to me man wait-"

Saying that I ran towards him.

Author pov

"Taehyung" He Heard that voice, that only reminded him of the longing he was having to hear that voice.

He was drunk and the drugs were only making him loose his shit over small things, he was becoming aggressive day by day and everywhere he looks, it was only her in his sight. He started to have hallucinations.

And even right now when he was hearing that voice calling his name, he thought it was his hallucination again.

He choked up that man and pinned his head on the road who was already bleeding too much.

Suddenly two small arms got wrapped around his torso, pulling him up with it's little to no force for him.

He froze on his place as he turned his face to the side.

She was there....she was really there... holding him closer and crying for him..."Leave him... he'll die" she sobbed, her voice barely above a wisper but enough for him to hear.

Thea was shaking in fear because if police arrive there then it will be a huge problem for him, he wasn't just beating someone to death but he was high on drugs, they can find that out.

She didn't wanted these things to happen to him that's even on his birthday, he was a well reputed man in country but right now he looks like a lovesick man who lost his everything.

"You're not real.....are you....?". He said, not believing that fianlly after all these tortures he was feeling her close to him.

She kneeled down like him and got closer to him, cupping his face. "Look in my eyes Taehyung...". He obeyed, looking deeply into her teary eyes with his red ones.

"Why are you doing this?". She whispered, her voice filled with pain and agony. Hundred of people were watching them but for them....only they exist.. nobody else.

"Doing what my baby..... hurting you?" He asked while chuckling, his voice was numb but he looked on the verge of breaking down. "I'm a bastard Thea....I couldn't give you what you want love....I could only give you pain-"

"Then there's no happiness in this world I can get then the pain which you will give me Taehyung..."
