This takes place a day after the previous chapter.

Kudo Mansion, 7:11 am..

Conan was getting ready for school like any usual day, but his phone was blowing up all morning today. He knew the reason for this and decided he'll open all the notifications later when he has free time.

Now that he's becoming more famous as a detective in Conan's body, the news of him dating is bigger than ever. He was all used to the famous stuff because of his parents and because of his older body, Shinichi, but someone wasn't..

In Agasa's house, Haibara woke up from all the notifications that were blowing up her phone, and she was irritated, she grabbed her phone harshly and did a quick scan of them, her face immediately paled. She'd thought that some people may gossip about it from school, not the whole of Japan.

She hated the spotlight and attention, she cursed and got out of bed as she put her phone on silent. She walked to the bathroom and brushed her teeth as she thought of all the ways to murder her boyfriend and the causer for this problem.

She brushed her hair and got ready for school. A doorbell rang and Doctor Agasa went to open it. "Shinichi, good morning, Haibara's upstairs still getting ready." Conan went inside and dropped his backpack on the couch. "Thanks Hakase, could you make us coffee while I go talk to her about something?" Conan asked making his way to the stairs. Doctor Agasa nodded and went to the kitchen.

Conan went upstairs and knocked on her door. "Wait Hakase." Haibara said as Conan heard footsteps nearing him. She opened the door and saw that Conan was standing there. "You.." she said as she pulled him inside, he had a confused look on his face.

"What..did I do?" He asked as she walked towards him while he took one step back each time, she cornered him on the bed and stood in front of him while he forcibly sat down on the bed looking up at her.

"Did you check your phone this morning?" She asked, a scary tone in her voice. "Yeah..it was blowing up all morning-" "exactly, my phone is going to explode..and you know I don't like being in the spotlight." She said as he gulped. "We knew it was going to be like that, why are you surprise-" "No not like this! It was supposed to be the school only and that's still bad but this is worse! The whole country?!" He flinched as she yelled at him.

Doctor Agasa sighed as he heard their voices, another argument nothing new for him. He contemplated going up there but decided to give them more time.

Haibara was now pacing back and forth in the room, they were going to be late but she didn't care, she couldn't think about anything else except this. "Calm down.. we'll just have to go with it, the people will forget about it tomorrow, they'll always find another piece of gossip." Conan explained trying to get her to calm down.

She breathed in before stopping in her place and looking at him. "It's all your fault because you decided to become a famous detective freak, now everyone's going to want to know about us." She said, Conan saw in her eyes that she was mad but also noticed some nervousness in her tone of voice.

He got up and walked towards her grabbing her shoulders and leading her to the bed, they sat down as he held her in place. "Look, it's okay, I'll do all the talking, you don't have to do anything, we'll walk to school and you can ignore everyone, I've got it under control." He said as she looked down, he brought his hand to her chin and made her look up at him.

She was restless and thinking over what he said, he placed a kiss on her forehead and just then the doorbell rang. They both got up and went downstairs, seeing Doctor Agasa opening the door to the 3 teenagers. "Good morning Hakase." Haibara said as he ruffled her hair. "Hi Ai-chan! How are you and Conan-kun?" Ayumi asked linking her arm with Haibara's.

"..it's going well, for now." Haibara answered giving Conan a glare while he scratched his head. "You look happy though Ayumi, tell me how did the date go with Tenko?" Haibara asked Ayumi, she blushed at the mention of the boy. "Well..he's my boyfriend!" Ayumi said squeezing Haibara's arm. "What? That's good news, better than the one I received this morning, congrats." Haibara said mumbling the last part but Ayumi heard her, so did the boys.

"Uhm about that..there are people and cameras and newspeople all around our school grounds, we walked to school and then saw them, we figured it would be about you guys, soo we turned around and went to you.." Genta said as he laughed nervously.

Haibara sighed and unlinked her arms with Ayumi. "I need coffee." She said walking out of the living room, leaving them surprised.

"What do we do about this?" Mitsuhiko asked when Haibara walked back to the living room a coffee in her hand. "It's okay they'll forget about it tomorrow and find something new to talk about." Ayumi said. "That's what I said." Conan looked at Haibara as she sighed for the millionth time.

"It says right here that *Conan and Haibara are the new talk of the month*" Genta said, Mitsuhiko gave him a glare while Haibara gripped her coffee cup tightly. She sipped the last of it and got up. "Let's just go to school."

Teitan High School, 8:09 am..

The 5 teenagers walked to school, as they reached the gates, they could see many people, mostly paparazzi. "Where are they? Are they not coming??" A person said holding a mic. "We don't know, please calm down, you're making a lot of noise." The staff of the school was trying to get everyone to quiet down.

"Oh shït what do we do." Mitsuhiko said as he looked at Conan and Haibara. Conan looked at Haibara and noticed her hands fiddling with each other. He grabbed them making her turn to look at him. "It's okay, like I said, I'll do the talking and we'll walk through there as fast as possible."

He reassured her as she nodded. He placed his hand on her waist as they walked closer to the gates. "How are we gonna walk through the entrance?" Ayumi asked looking around. "Genta, Mitsuhiko, you guys walk in front of us while we walk behind you." Conan said as they nodded and walked.

They reached the entrance and many eyes turned to look at them. "Hey, it's them! They're here." A guy shouted and the 5 teenagers picked up their pace as they walked through the crowd. Conan held Haibara close to him as she kept a straight face. "Ayumi-chan, is that you guys?" A voice said, Ayumi turned to look at the person and saw Tenko.

"Tenko-kun! Come help us get Conan-kun and Ai-chan through." Ayumi called out to her boyfriend. "Alright coming." He said making his way towards them as he held Ayumi's hand and walked behind Conan and Haibara.

"Edogawa sir, so it's true you're dating?" A guy asked pulling at Conan's arm, Conan shoved him off. "I'll answer everything after school, please understand." He said as he walked holding Haibara.

They finally managed to get through to the lockers area and put their shoes away. "That was something back there." Tenko said as he breathed out. "Yeah we're finally out of it." Mitsuhiko added. Conan checked on Haibara and she was completely normal.

"Let's go to class, we're already late." Ayumi says as she said goodbye to Tenko. "Kobayashi sensei will definitely murder us." Genta said sweating.

Teitan High School, 1:55 pm..

They finished school and were about to go to the lockers. Haibara and Conan walked side by side, now that their secret was out, students looked at them from all angles.

They were stopped by a group of gossip girls who wanted to confirm some things, a few mins later they managed to escape them and met up with their friends at the lockers, Tenko was there too.

"So what do you guys wanna do after school?" Ayumi asked standing next to Tenko. "Honestly I just wanna go home so no more people ask us questions." Haibara said putting on her shoes. "Reasonable, alright what about you Conan?" Tenko asked.

Conan turned to him and thought. "Me too, I have to open all these notifications." He answered, they nodded at him and Tenko decided to hang out with Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko.

"See you guys on Monday." Conan said leaving with Haibara. "Yep." Mitsuhiko said waving to him. The two shrunken adults walked together towards the school gates.

An interviewer spotted them and ran towards them with a camera. "Excuse me, Edogawa and his girlfriend, we wanna ask you some questions." The guy said, some other people heard them and went over to them as well to ask their questions. "Uhh, okay okay..can you move a little." Conan said nervously as he saw more people approaching, he had no problem with them but it was different since Haibara was with him now.

He held her hand and looked at her pleadingly. She knew they couldn't escape the people unless they answered some questions. "How long have you two been dating?" Conan was going to answer all the questions while Haibara stood next to him, her head low. "A couple of months." He wasn't going to tell them for over than a year, it would expose them fully. "Do you have a thing for blondes?" Another guy asked. "No? I liked Haibara for her personality." He answered honestly.

That made Haibara smile a little. "There have been some spottings of you leaving the Kudo Mansion, is this true?" A woman asked. "Well.." Conan stuttered as he thought of the fastest excuse he had in mind. "I'm a distant relative of the Kudo Family, so it's normal if I'm seen there." He answered combing a hand through his hair. Immediately cameras flashed at the sight.

"Edogawa sir! Did you and your girlfriend Haibara-san have sex??" A guy asked as some interviewers listened for the answer. Haibara's and Conan's faces were crimson red but they couldn't see Haibara's. "That's it for questions, thank you we'll be leaving." Conan quickly answered as he grabbed Haibara's waist tightly and guided her out the crowd as more people started calling out to them.

They escaped the paparazzi and made it to his house, they both sighed as Conan closed the door behind them. "That was exhausting, I'm going to shower and take a nap." Haibara said taking off her shoes. Conan nodded and took off his shoes as well.

Going upstairs, Haibara went inside the washroom and Conan changed his clothes to a pair of shorts and a shirt. He sighed as he plopped down on his bed and grabbed his phone to check his notifications, lots from distant friends, a few from his mom, and some from Ran and Heiji.

He opened them one by one to answer. 20 mins have gone by and the washroom door opened revealing Haibara with shorts and an oversized shirt. Conan looked up from his phone and spotted his girlfriend drying her hair with a towel. "Those people are crazy..wait a minute, is that my shirt." Conan said as he realized the navy blue shirt he owned, he also realized it was too oversized from the shirts she usually wore.

"What no-" Haibara looked down at the shirt and sighed as she looked at him again. "That was a mistake I grabbed the wrong shirt from the closet." She said as she walked to the closet. "Mhm sure, just say you liked it." Conan teased her. "I was in a rush shut up." She answered him, suppressing a smile from her face.

"Okay fine, but don't change its alright, you look good in my clothes." Conan said checking her out and turning to his phone again. Haibara slightly blushed and closed the closet door, she walked over to bed on her side and slipped under the covers, she grabbed her phone and started to read the notifications.

Haibara yawned as her eyes slowly started to close due to her tired state. Sure enough she fell asleep, her phone falling out of her hand. Conan heard the phone fall into the mattress. He looked at Haibara and saw her sleeping soundly.

He removed her phone and was about to turn it off when he noticed she was watching the small interview that happened after school, she was looking at him during that part of the interview and he hadn't noticed until now, he smiled to himself and turned her phone off.

He put it on the bedside table and changed Haibara's position to a more comfortable one, she snuggled closer to him as he covered her with the blanket. He removed his glasses and laid down next to her, sliding under the covers as well. He rested his hand on her waist and kissed the top of her head. She snuggled her face in his neck and he fell asleep right after.

Sup y'all, I wasn't too sure how to end this chapter but I decided with some coai fluff since it's been a while, I'll try to include more coai in the next one.
