Prologue (a little accident)

It's my first time writing a story and I've had some practice from other fanfics so hopefully you enjoy this! Also I publish everyday at 8pm, sometimes earlier sometimes later, and if I don't for one day I'll surely notify you!

Kudo Mansion 6:05 am..

The sun has slowly started to rise and barely lit up the room, Conan was still sleeping in his bed, next to him was Ai sleeping calmly, they were both cuddling eachother with the blanket wrapped tight around them since it was the beginning of October and the autumn breeze had a chilly weather. It has been 3 years since they defeated the black organization and after Conan and Haibara have gone all these years together, they fell for eachother and so they started dating 2 years ago. They were now 14 years old, semi teenagers so at this age dating was okay although they were 20 year olds in their original bodies.

Haibara started shifting in her sleep feeling a bit pain in her stomach, she slowly opened her eyes and sat up quietly to not wake up the boy next to her sleeping, she got up and looked at the area she was laying in, thankfully there wasn't any blood but she could feel her period starting, she slowly tip-toed to the washroom and closed the door. She was correct, her period had started and her cramps started to hurt her more.

Conan was stirring in his sleep and felt a little cold so he searched for Ai, he extended his arm to her side of the bed only to be met by the mattress, he opened his eyes only to find her place empty, then he heard some water noises coming from the washroom so he figured she was just in there for a bathroom break.

5 minutes later, Ai came out and saw Conan sat up in his bed. She was a little confused as to why he woke up so she decided to ask him. "Aren't you supposed to be asleep?" She asked the little detective as she slowly made her way to her side of the bed. "I didn't find you next to me so I waited for you." He answered her after yawning.

Haibara suddenly felt a sharp pain in her stomach and winced. Conan saw immediately and shoved the blanket off him. "What's wrong Haibara??" He asked, a worried look on his face as he pulled her on the bed. "Nothing..just..." Some blush crept onto her face. "What, what is it?" He asked again. "My..cramps are hurting me...I got my period." She said, she was feeling embarrassed to tell him since it was a private topic. Conan felt a bit of relief since she wasn't in serious danger. "Here..get closer to me." He said as he pulled her closer to him, he then wrapped the blanket around her to keep her warm. "Do you need anything?" He asked her as he kissed her on her temple. "No I'm good..thank you." Although she was still feeling pain, a hot cup of tea would be nice and some medicine since her cramps were starting to get worse.

She winced again as she felt pain all over her stomach but she tried to hide it as much as she could. Conan feeling helpless started to get worried and nervous. "Give me a minute..I'll be back, stay here and don't move." He said as he quickly got off the bed, grabbed his phone, left his room and started walking downstairs to the kitchen. He opened his phone to search for drinks or something to have while on your period, since he didn't know anything of the topic. After scrolling for 2 minutes he found out that green tea helps with period cramps so he quickly boiled some water and hot green tea from the cupboard.

Haibara was still in his room clutching her stomach as she was whimpering from the pain, small tears started to well in her eyes and she wished to be somewhere else right now so Conan couldn't see her. Just as the mention of him, Conan opened the bedroom door holding a cup of green tea in one hand and medicine with the other. "Here, I made you a hot cup of tea and medicine that will help with your..cramps." He said as he put the cup on the table next to the bed and helped her sit up a little. Haibara took the medicine and swallowed it while drinking the tea. "Thank you..I'm surprised you knew what to do." She remarked sarcastically, even at times like these she would have to tease him, it's a part of her daily chore. Conan sighed with a smile on his face as he looks at his girl, at least he was happy that she wasn't feeling anymore pain.

The sun started to light up the room more since it was 7 am now. Conan was sitting next to her in bed as she was drinking her tea, her pain subsided thanks to the tea and medicine that Conan had brought. "Are you feeling better now?" Conan asked as he brushed a strand of hair that fell on Ai's face. She nodded and smiled at him as she drank her last sips of her tea and set it on the bedside table. "So much better, thank you Shinchi." She yawned as she was starting to feel sleepy, who could blame her, she got woken up from her peaceful sleep at such an early time, thankfully they didn't have school today. "You're sleepy aren't you?" Conan teased as he pulled her closer to him. "It's okay you can go back to sleep it's still early." He said and put her head on his chest. She turned to him and cuddled him to doze off to sleep. Conan kissed her forehead and played with her hair.

He waited for her to fall asleep to make sure she wouldn't feel any pain anymore and then he too started to doze off to sleep.

11:28 am..

Conan slowly started to open his eyes, he felt a warm body on top of him and saw Ai was still sleeping, he started to admire her sleeping figure, her face looked so calm, she was beautiful in his eyes, the sun shined on the perfect angle making her strawberry-blonde hair glow. "Staring is rude, tantei-san." Haibara said not moving an inch. Conan was taken a back because he had thought that she was sleeping. "A-Ai..you're awake." Conan said flustered as he looks away swiftly. Haibara released a light chuckle as she opens her eyes and gets off of him to stretch. Conan also chuckles at her respond.

"Were you awake the whole time?" He asked amused. "Just a few mins before you woke up, I was too comfortable to move." She said before yawning. "How do you feel now?" Haibara hummed in confusion at first but then understood what he meant."yea fine I guess." She answered with her usual self.

After a few mins of talking they both got up to dress, since it was kind of cold they wore warm clothing. Both of them were now walking downstairs to the kitchen to make some coffee.

Haibara sat on the couch and grabbed a magazine to read while Conan grabbed the tv remote and sat next to her switching between channels. After flipping a couple of channels he stopped at a crime movie. "Seriously how do you not get bored of watching these while solving crimes almost everyday." Haibara said with a bored tone. Conan ignored her and kept watching since he knew she was gonna win the argument at the end.

A few hours have passed and they were getting bored, then a phone rang, it was Conan's. He read the caller's name 'Heiji Hattori', he then answered. "Yo Kudo, what's up?" Heiji asked on the phone. "Nothing much, why'd you call?" Conan answered. "I'm coming to Tokyo next week for a few days so I thought we'd meet." Then they started discussing their schedules as Conan got up and walked out of the living room. Haibara was left alone still reading her magazine, she started to feel some pain in her stomach again but it wasn't that much so she didn't do anything but a few mins later it was getting worse and worse so she was wincing a little and clutched her stomach. A rush of pain suddenly shot her and haibara groaned as she let the magazine fall out of her grasp. She was now really hurting, she couldn't get up to take her medicine because of the pain. She had no choice but to call Conan to come help her even though she didn't want to ask him since he was busy. "Conan!" She called out but Conan was too far out of earshot. She called again but another burst of pain that was much harder this time hit her, she groaned loudly as she started breathing heavily. "Shinchi!" She called him by his real name since it was becoming hard for her to breathe yet he still couldn't hear her. "Shinchi.."

"As I was saying what do you say on Wednesd-" Heiji was cut off by Conan. "Oi Hattori' I think I heard someone calling my name but I'm not sure.." Conan said as he stopped pacing in the library. "Idk dude go check it out." "Okay I'll call you back." He then hung up and went to check on Haibara. He walked in the living room. "Hey Ai did you call me I heard my-" Conan stopped in his tracks as he saw a trembling Ai on the floor near the couch clutching her stomach. "Ai! What happened what's wrong?!?" He asked worriedly as he sprinted over to her and grabbed her body tightly. "N-Nothing my cramps are back.. that's all-." "How could you say it's nothing you're on the floor!" Conan cut her off as he tries to keep his cool since she's in pain right now. "Is this normal?!" He asked frustrated. "Yes....actually no I have this thing were my cramps are worse by 5x times than normal cramps.." she answered hesitantly. She let out a whimper that slipped away, she didn't want Conan to see her in this state, tears were starting to form in her eyes again but she quickly blinked them out.

Conan started to think again, should he just let it pass? Or does he do something about it, if so then what?? After thinking he came to a conclusion. Without wasting another minute he quickly wrapped his arms around her and picked her up bridal style. Haibara was shocked for a moment but didn't try to protest since she could use some help. He walked over to the couch beside the fireplace which also had a heating system in it. He placed haibara down and adjusted the heating system, he thought maybe the cold weather is making her cramps worse so after he was done, he went near her face, he kissed her temple. "I'll go make you some hot tea, stay here and I'll get you anything you need, I'll be back okay?" He said before walking to the kitchen. Haibara started to warm up, it was only autum and the weather is like this, what will happen when it's winter??

Conan hurriedly walked over to the kitchen to boil some water. He decided he'll also order some hot ramen since they still didn't eat, also because he doesn't know how to even cook an egg.

After ordering he finished making the tea so he grabbed the medicine and went back to Haibara. He saw her still clutching her stomach with the blanket that he wrapped around her tightly. He approached her and placed the tea cup on a small table, he gave her the medicine. "Here, I've ordered some food because you haven't eaten anything yet." He has his hand on her cheek caressing it gently. Haibara reached for the tea cup but Conan was faster, he quickly gave it to her, while she took her medicine and drank the tea. She sighed feeling a little better after something hot had entered her.

15 minutes later the food was here, Conan got up and went to go get it. He payed at the door and took the food from the man. He then rushed over to the living room again to Haibara, he placed her bowl on the small table and placed his on the coffee table near the other couches. He opened her box and hot steam started to come out from it indicating it was still hot. He took the chopsticks and mixed her ramen to help the toppings get in together with the flavour. "Are you well enough to eat on your own?" Conan asked still mixing her food. "I'm not a little kid you know." She answered sarcastically. Conan then chuckled a little. "Whatever you say, here." He dragged the small table near her so she could eat. "Thank you for the offer though, I'll add it to my 'things-to-never-let-conan-do-to-me', it fits just right in." She said giggling. Conan frowned but chuckled later, she was feeling a little better now at least. He then walked over to the other couch to sit on while he eats his ramen.

7:09 pm..

The sun was starting to set now, they were still in the living room, both of their bowls were empty, next to her bowl a sleeping Haibara, she had slept on the couch accidentally but she couldn't help it, she was exhausted. Conan noticed her sleeping figure so he decided to make her sleep in the bed since it's comfier. He got up and walked to her, she looked peaceful sleeping and he couldn't help but smile, he then wrapped his arms around her slowly to not wake her up. He carried her bridal style up the stairs then to his room. He gently put her down on the bed and decided to change her clothes since they were dating and it was alright. He changed her into some pj's and he managed to not wake her up, seems like she was really tired.

He also decided to lay down next to her so he changed into some comfortable clothes. He laid down next to her and cuddled her closer so she doesn't feel any cold, she cuddled closer to him unknowingly and rested her head on his chest. Conan then kissed the top of her head, smelling the scent of her strawberry-blonde hair, it also smelled like strawberries. "Goodnight love." He whispered to her knowing she can't hear him. Little did he know she heard him but it was more like in her dream. Then he slowly drifted off to sleep.
