Chapter 4:
06:15, 22 November 2013Chapter 4:"So they're just making you do this? Without your consent whatsoever?!" Ed bursts out, his knife and fork clattering onto his plate. My eyes widen at his antics, jumping at the screeching sound. His face is seething with anger, with none of the businessman persona he usually carries as the attention draws around us. He noticed me looking around and leans closer, "Tay, you have a decision. It isn't just a forcible task.""But it is. Plus it's a year, Ed. It isn't like its forever. We'll keep our space from eachother and dad will get his dream come true." I explain with a forced smile. At the same time I'm trying to convince myself of this. But the fact that I've never even truly kissed a boy, let alone slept in the same bed as one scares me, but I guess I can sleep on the couch or a guest bedroom. Yeah, I'm that girl that's never kissed a boy, that's only dreamt and seen movies about it. "...Just be careful with him. He's definitely not one to be gentle with you." He mutters with an unconvinced look on his face as he returns to cutting his steak. "I'm not that fragile and you know that. I can take care of myself." I state, standing up. That was a total lie, I'm weaker on the inside but my stubbornness overtakes that so it seems as if I can take things but I cant. "I'm sorry, I have to go..." I mutter and walk out, leaving Ed alone in the restaurant.•••Harrys POV••Niall sits to my right, chugging on a pint of Budweiser from the bottle. "So, this chick you're marrying, you know her?" He slurs, not setting the bottle down. I look up around the basically empty bar. "I mean, I met her at this little antique shop but I never got her name besides the last name. But she knew me, no surprise.." I trail, sipping on my second beer tentatively. This morning I had a horrid hangover and the last thing I want is another one, despite the stress. "Is she hot?"My brain treks back to when I saw her. She was stunning. Blonde hair that shines brighter in the light with whispy bangs that shaded into her face, the plump red lip that had tempted me that day. Her eyes were the color of the sky, bright crystal blue which I could see where someone could get lost in them. The way she'd carried herself was attractive enough but she kept her head high even after my arrogance had bursted itself out. "Very." I say simply, offering no further bearings on the matter. The alcohol slows my thoughts as I begin to babble on and on about what I know about her looks. Niall doesn't seem completely there but nods appreciately as the bartender fills his glass. "Ye know man, are you sure you don't like her?" he smirks, a bead of sweat tracing down his forehead. I scoff. "No way, mate. Plus I have Cara, there's no need for another hoe to carry around. And besides, she has self inquired 'morals'. I'd never even touch her." I laugh, almost coughing on the stingy drink. Niall frowns but stumbles out a laugh. The convincing doesn't have to become hard with Ni, it starts with convincing myself first. "Whateva you say, lad.."••A/N••Hey guys,Sorry it hasn't gotten to the real point yet but it will start next chapter. Remember I try to update daily and it's difficult at that just because I have school then basketball practice or games and by the time I'm home it's late. But i'm trying as often as I can, please understand. Love you,Brooke ••
