It was now Monday. The weekend was fun, well not so much for Marvin now that he had to worry about Jeffy breaking things again, but now it was time to return to school.

Junior was downstairs, waiting for Chef PeePee to finish cooking breakfast. He sat on the counter as Chef PeePee focused on watching the pancakes.

"Are you sure I have to go to school today? That trial still has me exhausted." Junior groaned.

"Yes, Junior. You heard your teacher. If you miss a few more days, you'll have to repeat your current grade. Besides, you only have a month left." Chef PeePee answered. He flipped the pancake that was on the pan, and luckily it wasn't burnt. He internally cheered knowing Junior wouldn't be able to make fun of him for burning something again.

"Wow, it's not black this time." Junior commented.

"Well, now that I don't have Bowser stressing me out I can actually focus on cooking better food." The chef said. He took the pancake off the pan with a spatula and put it on a plate before serving it to Junior. "Taste it."

Junior drizzled a little bit of syrup on the pancake before grabbing a fork and taking a bite. His face lit up. "Wow, this tastes good! Actually good!"

Chef PeePee laughed. "Told you. I don't suck at cooking, and you know that now."

"Whatever, dad." Junior said. The two stayed silent for a moment, taking in what Junior had said and not knowing what to think. "Y'know what, I'm just gonna keep calling you Chef PeePee. I'm way too used to it now."

"And I'm too used to calling you brat to call you son." Chef PeePee joked.

"Hey!" Junior exclaimed, slugging the chef in the arm playfully. The two laughed loudly, then Junior finished the rest of his pancake just in time for the bus to come. Junior grabbed his bag and phone, and said his goodbyes.

"Bye Junior. Have a good day!" Chef PeePee said.

"Again, it's school. I don't think that's possible." Junior retorted.

"Just get on that giant yellow twinkie already."
