Instead of taking the time to try and cook something, Marvin just decided to order pizza despite having shopped for groceries. It got there at around 6pm, and he took his share and went upstairs to eat it on the couch. Jeffy got himself a plate and went to his room to continue doing whatever he did after rage-quitting Fortnite.

As for Junior, he tried to take his food and go back upstairs like the others, but Bowser made him stay downstairs, threatening to snitch on Joseph again. He reluctantly sat at the table and ate his pizza as discreetly fast as he could. He avoided all eye contact with Bowser as well. Bowser noticed this.

"What? You really want to go back and play on your flipper that bad?" He scoffed.

"Totally." Junior mumbled.

"You'd better get used to seeing me, Junior, because we're going to be spending a lot of quality time together once that chef is away for good." Bowser told the boy ominously, smirking.

"I know that's not gonna happen, and I want a sneak peak of the future." Junior said, taking another bite of pizza right after.

Bowser laughed. "Oh Junior, Goodman is the best lawyer in the county, the whole police force believes me and so does everyone who's seen the news. Chef PeePee also hasn't been able to get a word of defense in this entire time, and everyone thinks that you're crazy and brainwashed. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be an easy case."

Junior thought of a witty comeback to suppress his anger and uneasiness, but the front door opened. The father and son looked at it, and saw Toad coming inside with a suitcase, his shirt halfway ripped-off, and reeking of that concert smell. He looked into the dining room and saw Junior and his father. "Hey Junior!"

"Hey Toad, welcome back!" Junior replied. Toad walked over to the ginger to give him a high five.

"Hi Toad." Bowser greeted positively. Toad looked him up and down, gave Junior one last pat on the head, and left the dining room without saying a word. Bowser frowned before going back to eating his food. "Damn bastard. He's only just turned 13 yet acts like he's some big star..." He mumbled while chewing.

Jeffy finished his pizza and went to throw his plate away downstairs and steal some snacks from the pantry. As he left his room, his dad was leaving the living room to throw away his plate. They made eye contact for a short moment, Marvin only looking away because of Jeffy's harsh look. They went down the stairs and passed Junior, who was going upstairs. The father and son went to the kitchen's trash can.

"Make sure to go to sleep early tonight. Court is tomorrow at 9 am." Marvin awkwardly told Jeffy.

"I will so I can see that Bowser fucker lose." Jeffy scoffed.

"You don't have to cuss in every sentence, Jeffy." Marvin said, sighing.

Jeffy rolled his eyes. "I'm surprised you aren't lecturing me on not assuming stuff after what I said."

Marvin stayed quiet, which made Jeffy start to walk away. The red-clad man then sighed. "Well, your assumptions may not be completely unlikely." Jeffy turned in shock. Marvin didn't speak anymore and walked past the boy, going upstairs to rot on the couch. Jeffy didn't know whether to cheer or be skeptical, but he decided to worry about it in the morning and focus on finding some cheerios to hump.
