06:58, 17 April 2025Bowser was able to get a meeting with Mr Goodman pretty quickly. They met a little past 1 pm in the dining room to talk about the case. Bowser was eager to hire Goodman since he had an amazing reputation, and if you pay him enough, he'll basically rig the entire thing.
"We meet again, Mr Reynolds." Goodman said. "You're taking action against PeePee for the thing we interviewed you about, correct?"
"Yes, and just call me Bowser." Bowser told him. "He kidnapped my son, and used some sort of mind tricks or manipulation to turn him against me."
"Wow, that is serious. Any other things he might very done to your son?"
"Junior was also bruised and was forced to wear that jacket to hide the marks. He was most likely starved too, which is why he passed out! Not to mention his cooking was basically attempted poisoning." Bowser explained.
"Alright..." Goodman mumbled, writing what Bowser had said down. "So, are you suing this man for anything as well?"
"I would, but that bastard has nothing for me to take. Everything I paid him was blown on... I don't even know. Probably drugs or something." Bowser grumbled.
"Ah... Anyways, about my fee, how much would you be able to pay me?" Goodman questioned.
"Well... I have around 20k in the bank right now, but I could round that up to 25k. I'd just have the pay the last couple thousand gradually. It shouldn't be an issue." Bowser brainstormed.
"Hmmm... not as much as I'd like..." Goodman mumbled to himself. "But this does seem like an easy case. If that chef doesn't have hardly anyone supporting him, then I'll make the fee 25 thousand. How does that sound?"
"Sounds great, sir." Bowser cheered. He stuck his hand out for Goodman to shake, but Goodman recoiled instead.
"I don't shake hands with the poor." Goodman said. "I'll see you on Saturday at the courthouse. Make sure to be there earlier so we can review this case."
"Okay, thank you again." Bowser said, getting the door for the rich man.
"Anything for the quick money." Goodman said. He walked out of the house and the door shut behind him. "Something's fishy about him... but money is money."
