"I don't have any idea where he could be! We looked everywhere!" Bowser sulked, lying his head on the dining table, defeated. "There's no way he could've gotten out, right?"

"No, at least I don't think... Rose was guarding the stairs, and you were up pretty much all night." Marvin said.

The three adults thought of any other way Junior could've escaped, or anywhere else he could've hid. "Wait... doesn't Jeffy's window open all the way?" Rose said in a concerned tone.

"Shit!" Marvin shouted. "How could we forget that?! God damnit! Now he could be anywhere!"

"If I ever see that good-for-nothing chef again, I'm gonna kill him! How could he destroy my baby's mind like that!" Bowser cried, slamming the table in anger.

"Where could he have gone? He wouldn't run away again, would he? The police have his full description!" Rose questioned.

"I don't know, but Jeffy might be there with him." Marvin responded. "Though if he was skipping, I should've gotten a call from the school..."

Bowser's angry expression changed into a happy one in the span of a second, confusing both Marvin and Rose. "'Call from the school,' that's right!"

"What...?" Marvin asked.

"Every day that Junior has missed school, I'd get a call from his principal letting me know he's not there. Normally, it'd be before 10 or 11 in the morning, but right now it's like 12." Bowser explained. "I'm gonna call and ask if he's at school!" He got his phone out and quickly called the school's office. He luckily had the number saved as a contact, so it was easier to find. Marvin and Rose heard Bowser's phone start to ring and listened in suspense. "Hello? This is Bowser Reynolds, is my son at school right now? ...Great! Thanks Steinbeck, see ya later, hottie." He then hung up with a large smile on his face.

"So... is he there...?" Marvin asked.

"Yep! We finally found my baby!" Bowser beamed.

"How are we going to get him home without him running off again?" Rose questioned. "Who knows where he could go after school is over. He could run off again."

"That's why I'm gonna pick him up early, so that way he can't. I recommend you pick Jeffy up too, so we can keep an eye on them both." Bowser told her and Marvin.

"Wow, I never thought you'd be the one to come up with this stuff." Marvin said. Bowser stood up and got his car keys, Marvin following shortly after.

"I guess my mind is working overtime since the person I love most depends on it." Bowser responded. "I'll meet you two at the school." He then walked out the door, smiling to himself. He knew the married couple would think he was talking about his son, which was even more perfect.
