Those ex criminals you see on TV were right. Jail sucks. All you do is sit in a cell and think about what you've done. Repent your sins and all that jazz.

But Chef PeePee didn't sin. He didn't do anything wrong. He helped out a kid in need, while also helping himself. Sure, he could've just called the police, but what would they have done? Take Bowser's side like they did just now and even before? Pass.

The chef was so filled with anxiety he could feel his hands shake and his heart pound often. He wanted to sob, break out of here, and make sure Junior was okay. He knew Junior must be back with his dad now, and that had to be causing him some major anxiety. Chef PeePee knew that Bowser most likely hadn't hit him yet. He had to wear his facade; show the world that he was the good guy, even though he definitely wasn't. He was the complete opposite, but only a few people knew.

Chef PeePee's trial was on a Saturday. A day normally filled with kids playing outside or inside, not worried about homework or sleep, was now the day Chef PeePee would be given a heavy sentence. The chef dreaded that day. It felt as if it would be 10 years away from how slow time seemed to go. The chef hadn't even gotten a cellmate to distract him. Just his luck.

"'Ey, inmate PeePee! Lunchtime!" Chef PeePee heard a voice say, which belonged to the blonde cop who'd arrested him. The officer shoved in a sad looking tray with some meat Chef PeePee didn't even recognize, a milk carton, and a small orange. The officer pointed at the orange and spoke. "Just because this is a baby orange, doesn't mean you have to kidnap it, just lettin' ya know."

"It's called a cutie, actually, and I did NOT kidnap anyone!" The chef retorted.

"Yea, yeah, just eat your food, criminal." The officer scoffed, walking away to most likely torment another inmate. The chef set his food on the top bed in his cell and sat on the bottom. He didn't feel like eating anything. He just wanted someone to believe him for once. To know that Junior is safe, even though he definitely is not.

There's a lot of things Chef PeePee wanted and needed, but right then he just wanted to rest. He fell asleep on the uncomfortable mattress, and hoped to dream of a better tomorrow.

The tomorrow he and Junior hoped for.
