Junior had stayed in the same sitting position for so long both Chef PeePee and Joseph had thought he fell asleep. Joseph poked him a few times on the shoulder, but Junior didn't move.

"Dude, are you okay?" Joseph asked after a while of Junior being still. Junior brought his head up a little to face Joseph.

"Yeah... I'm just stressed, and a little scared." Junior told him.

"I am too dude, but we're gonna get through this. We got to." Joseph said, reassuring the boy.

"Yes... We will. Stakes may be higher now, but we can't let it stop us. As corny as it sounds, I know we can do this, and I know the both of you do too." Chef PeePee added.

Junior was silent for a moment, then smiled. "Thanks guys. You're right, we can get through this!" He cheered, pumping his fist in the air excitedly.

"Yeah! Nothing can set us back! We're betterer!" Joseph exclaimed, mimicking Junior's fist pump. They both high-fived each other. Their positivity was infectious, even Chef PeePee was smiling, which the boys took notice of.

" 'Five me, Peepers!" Junior said, going over to where the chef was sitting, picking the chef's hand up, and slapping it with his own. "Yeah!!"

The chef let out a small laugh. "Alright, calm down. People might hear some commotion and try to check it out." He told the boys. "What time should we leave here? I at least want to move a little soon, it's not good to stay in the same place for long."

"Sundown like yesterday, then stop at dark? Those pigs are definitely going to be searching in the dark." Joseph said.

"So would that be from like 7 to... 8:30 maybe?" Junior asked.

"I don't know... I guess we'll just wait and see." The chef replied. "For right now, let's eat some lunch, I'm starving."

"Me too!" Junior said. Joseph agreed with him.

The chef opened his bag and dug through it a little bit. He had also brought along some canned foods that didn't need to be refrigerated, so he decided to have him and the other two eat those. He got himself some beans, and Junior and Joseph ravioli, since he knew Junior didn't like beans that much.

"Finally, no more peanut butter." Junior remarked, opening his can and grabbing a fork from Chef PeePee. "And you can't burn this!"

"You're right about that, dude." Joseph agreed, taking his first bite.

"You guys are being dramatic, I don't burn everything I cook." The chef mumbled.

"Didn't you burn ice cream a while back?" Joseph asked, which made him and Junior start giggling.

"Can you guys just shut up and eat?" The chef said annoyed. The two boys finished laughing, and started to eat the rest of their lunch, the chef finishing his as well. With a satisfied stomach, they all decided to plan what they were going to do.

"So, you said Brent was next on the way, right?" Junior asked.

"Yes, after this road, a few houses, and another road." Chef PeePee responded.

"Why does everything out here have to be road?" Junior complained.

"I don't know dude, I guess we have a lot of cars." Joseph said.

"Anyways, I'm pretty sure once sundown hits, if we walk far enough, we'll be at the end of this road. Hopefully there's more places to hide ahead." Chef PeePee theorized.

"I'm pretty sure I've been this way before, when my mom was alive, and I remember the woods going on forever. I think we'll be good, and if not we could find a valley to hide in." Joseph told the chef.

"Well then, that's even better." The chef commented. He turned his head upwards to look at the sky. The sun was just on the high side of the sky, though it was starting to go down a bit. "We still have a while until it's time, so I guess we'll just chill until then. I don't know about you guys, but my legs for sure could use the rest."

"Mine too. Hey, Joseph, you wanna play hangman?" Junior asked the green-hatted boy.

"Of course dude! I'll guess first, lay it on me!" Joseph agreed. Chef PeePee hung back and sat against a tree while he watched the two boys play hangman. Much to his dismay, the first sentence was "old fart," and Junior used him as a hint.

"I'm only 31! I'm not old!" The chef said defensively.

"Yuh huh! I heard most males living here only like for 75 years, so you're already almost halfway done with life!" Junior retorted.

"That's just an average!" Chef PeePee said.

After they got bored of hangman, Junior and Joseph moved onto other games like eye spy, pictionary which Chef PeePee joined for a short time out of boredom, catch with a circle-shaped rock they found, and other miscellaneous things.

Stakes were higher now, and with all the hope they had, they still knew there was a high chance the police would find them. So for the last chill moment they had, they really wanted to make the most of it the best they could.

Bowser stripped himself out of his fancy and good looking but tight clothes and back into his usual outfit, which consisted of a used-to-be white tank top, and green shorts. He sat down right on his deep ass-print, and turned his TV to the Charleyyy channel. He smiled as his favorite man in the whole wide world came onto his screen, ready to make him laugh.

"Ohhh I'm so excited! Thank god that stupid interview didn't make me miss any Charleyyy and friends." He said to himself as the TV came on. "If Junior and Chef PeePee think they can get away from me that easily, then they're dumb as hell! Now Chef PeePee's gonna get life in prison for kidnapping, and Junior... well, I'll make sure he gets his consequences too..." He laughed to himself, as the Charleyyy intro started to play.

"Who likes Charley, we like Charley..." The intro went on as Bowser got a notification on his phone. It was from one of the officers at the local police department.

Some bald officer messaged you: A few people have spotted the Chef and the boys near the end of Titoville. We should find them soon mate.

"Really...?" Bowser hummed in amusement. He quickly texted him back.

Bowwowzer: Thabk yoy so much officer, I cabt wait to have mt baby boy bavk!

He cursed at his fat fingers as he sent his message. He smirked to himself, knowing his plan was working. "I can't wait to see that BRAT'S face when his little chef gets ARRESTED IN FRONT OF HIS EYES!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA" He continued to laugh maniacally, as his favorite show played on.
