Part 14 - Office Party

The meetings me and Downey had in D.C went very well and the company decided to proceed with Downey's idea. When they announced the news our office decided to organize a party for that succees. It's been a while since we had the last party here, especially with Downey present. Malcolm asked me to be his date for tonight and I happily agreed. I didn't have any other option and I always have fun with Malcolm.

He picked me up from my house and drove us to the office. People were there, having fun and dancing already. We left our coats and then got our first drink for the night. We were hanging around with our friends when I saw Downey arriving with his wife. My stomach tightened at her sight. I watched them for a few seconds while he was taking her coat but then returned my focus to my friends.

"Cheers to Olivia and her big part in this" Malcolm says and we all clink our glasses.

"Actually I had very little to do with this" I correct him smiling.

"What matters is that without you we probably wouldn't be celebrating now" he says sweetly and caresses my back with his hand.

We all take a sip from our drinks and I feel a little bit embarrassed by the attention my friends are giving me. We continued our night laughing and chatting with different people in the office. I saw Downey and his wife walking towards us and I prayed they weren't going to talk to us.

"Ms. Beck" I hear his voice from behind me and I take a deep breath before turning around.

"Hello, Mr. Downey" I smile at him.

"My wife, Susan, insisted on meeting the partner that helped the idea come to life" he says.

"So happy to meet you, Ms. Beck" we shake our hands.

"Likewise. Please, call me Olivia" I smile.

"So many years married to Robert and I've adopted his ways. I've never heard him call a coworker by their name" she laughs.

"Can I ask how many years are these?" I look at Downey and he's looking straight into my eyes.

"Seventeen years" he replies and kisses the side of Susan's head.

"Wow, congratulations" I say smiling.

"It was nice seeing you again, Ms. Beck. I hope you enjoy the rest of the party" he says and takes a sip from the drink he's holding.

"Thank you. It was a pleasure meeting you, Susan. Enjoy the rest of the night" I smile and they leave.

I drink the rest of my drink quickly and place the glass away. I have my eyes locked on Downey on the other side of the room. He's laughing and having fun with his wife and a few other important members of the company.

"Are you okay?" Malcolm asks in my ear.

"Yes, I'm fine. I just need to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back" I say and he nods.

I get in and take a few breaths to calm down. How on earth didn't he feel uncomfortable introducing me to his wife? I step out not wanting it to seem like there's something wrong and as I walk back to the room we were I see Downey coming towards me.

"Come with me" he says stopping me.

"Are you crazy? No!" I say silently.

"For f*cks shake, we don't have much time" he groans and takes me with him in his office.

He locks the door and presses his lips on mine. I don't believe this. I'm dying of nervousness over here and he's horny instead of afraid.

"What are you doing? Your wife is like three offices away from us" I ask breathing heavily.

"That's why I said we don't have much time" he kisses me again roughly and pushes me backwards until I hit his desk.

"You look so hot tonight" he whispers in my ear and spins me around.

He makes me bend over with my front pressed on his desk and his hands pull down my tights. He then easily pulls up my dress and removes my panties leaving me exposed to him.

"You're crazy" I groan when he rubs me with his fingers.

"Damn right, I am" he replies and pushes them inside me.

He makes me feel so good with his deep thrusts. I'm moving against his hand but he uses his strength to keep me in place. I hear him uzipping his dress pants and then feel him pulling them down. His hands are on each side of my waist and his erection is on my entrance. He pushes his hips deep inside me and I gasp. The power he uses when he slams into me makes me want to scream. I manage to keep all sounds to myself until he hits my spot over and over.

"Yess" I moan loudly and he immediately slips out of me and turns me around.

He kisses me hardly and positions me on his desk, this time sitting on it. He enters me again still with his lips on mine. He covers my mouth with his hand to keep me from shouting again and thrusts inside me fast. He shuts his eyes and groans next to my ear.

"Grab a paper, whatever you can reach" he groans and I obey him.

I stretch my hand and take a piece of paper. I give it to him and he takes a few seconds to read it.

"I didn't know financials turn you on so much" I say and he gives me a cold look.

"I need to know what file I'm about to destroy" he groans and then pulls out of me to finish on it.

He crinkles the file and then throws it in the bin. I stand on my feet and readjust my clothes as he does the same. He comes to me and tries to touch me with his hand but I grab it before he touches me.

"Relax, you need to fix your lipstick" he chuckles.

"Well, so do you" I say looking at the slight red marks on his lips.

"Go ahead" he smirks and I sigh.

I rub my hand on the spots where my lipstick has left marks and wipe them off. He still has the smirk on his lips which pisses me off.

"Don't you want me to fix yours?" he asks seductively.

"No, I'm late already. I'll fix it myself faster" I say and take the lipstick out of my purse.

"Mr. Collins is waiting for you?" he asks.

"Yes, he is actually" I reply and lean in front of a mirror he has in the office to reapply my lipstick.

"Is there anything I need to know?" he stands right behind me. I laugh and turn around.

"It's none of your business, Downey" I say and take my purse from his desk.

"Actually, it is. I'm the CEO, I need to know these things" he sounds serious.

"Last time I checked it's not forbidden for coworkers to date in our company"

"Does that mean you are dating him?" he asks looking into my eyes and stops me from leaving the office.

"No, leave me alone now" I sigh and he finally lets me out.

I go back to my friends and see they're all still happy and drinking. Malcolm wraps his arm around my shoulders and looks at me.

"What took you so long?" he asks.

"There was a line in the bathroom" I reply calmly.

We continue our night and then I see Downey coming back. He goes straight to his wife and kisses her. I roll my eyes and look away. I didn't have my mind on him at all after that. It was an office party which means it didn't last until very late. We all said goodbye at the parking lot and me and Malcolm got into his car. He drove us to my house first and parked the car.

"For a third date, I admit I could've done better than that" he says shaking his head.

"The first two were really good, it's hard topping them" I smile to make him feel better.

"I'm sorry, did you at least have some fun tonight?"

"Yes, it was nice. Don't worry at all. If you want we can call it a business night out. We can do whatever you had in mind for our third date another time"

"We're still calling it our third date. And usually it's the most fun, but it seems like that wasn't the case tonight" he smiles nervously.

"What do you usually do on third dates and they're the fun ones?" I ask happily.

"If the first ones go well and I'm interested this is the time I usually make my move" he says shyly.

"And how about our case?"

"I believe we're going well" he looks at me smiling.

"Me too" I nod and smile back.

There are a few seconds where we just look at each other and say nothing. It's almost like we're about to kiss.

"I've had a few more drinks, I can barely keep my eyes open. Thank you for the lovely night" I say to wake us both up and he nods.

"It was my pleasure. Goodnight, Liv" he smiles.

"Goodnight, Malcolm"

I go upstairs and fall desperately on the bed. What a night.
