Part Sixty

Lauren’s POV

I dressed in my new dress Justin had bought me- the one from Jack Wills. I was beyond excited. Words cannot describe.

“Lauren! I cannot believe you spent the day with Justin Bieber!” Sophia screamed.

“I know!” I screamed right back.

“You’ve been doing this since we got back,” Harry sighed.

“So,” We both raised an eyebrow.

“Nothing, carry on," He sighed and left the room.

"Lauren you look amazing! I can't believe he bought you that dress!" Sophia smiled.

"I know! I'm still in shock! But you'll meet him too tonight!" I grinned and we hugged happily. Sophia was dressed in black leather high-waisted shorts with a white lace, long sleeved crop top, she also wore black and white converse on her feet and some jewellery that Niall bought her. Her hair was curled lightly and pinned out of her face. She looked amazing.

"Is it time to go yet?" She asked excitedly.

"Yes!" I screamed as I read the clock. We screamed once more and I pulled on my blue TOMs. Yes, TOMs and a dress, what of it? I want to be comfy and look nice. Besides they are both blue, just different shades. We flew down the stairs and ran into the lounge where everyone was.

"Leggo!" Sophia, Niall and I screamed together.

"Alright, we're coming," Mel sighed, and they all hauled themselves up, the girls more reluctant than the boys. Beth, Molly and Mel really didn't like Justin and I didn't understand why. We all climbed in the car and I noticed how weird they were all looking.

Beth was wearing a pair of black leggings, grey vans, and a white and pink faded jumper, tucked into her leggings. This wasn't the weird part, she was carrying something stuffed under her top. I wasn't sure what it was.

Molly and Mel were wearing similar things to Beth. Niall, Liam, Louis, Harry and Zayn were all wearing swim shorts and thin plain tops. Harry and Louis were both carrying bags, Harry holding his very carefully.

What’s going on?

“What’s in the bags?” I asked, and why are you wearing swim trunks to a concert? I added in my mind.

“I don’t understand…” Sophia said slowly.

“This is going to be awesome,” Beth cheered giddily.

“Am I on a different planet?” I asked and everyone laughed.

Did Beth just call a Justin Bieber concert ‘awesome’?

“Nope,” Harry said, sounding cute as he popped his ‘p’. I sat silently for the rest of the journey, half excited, half curious as to what they were up to.

“Justin!” I grinned as I saw him. We were backstage now and Justin was walking over to the ten of us.

“Lauren,” He grinned and hugged me.

“Eep,” Sophia squeaked as he turned to face her.

“You must be Sophia,” He chuckled and pulled her into a hug.

“Lauren! Lauren!” Sophia whispered loudly when Justin released her… or she released him… she held on pretty tightly.

“What?” I asked.

“I just got a Bieber hug!” She grinned and everyone laughed.

“Sophia, we watched you,” Zayn laughed.

“It was the best hug ever!” She shouted.

“Fine,” Niall huffed, jokingly.

“No offence Nialler, but Horan hugs do come a close second,” She smiled and kissed Niall’s cheek.

“I see why Niall likes you so much,” Justin laughed and we all joined in, except Sophia, who was blushing.

“You’re wearing your hat,” I smiled, noticing that he was wearing the hat I had bought him.

“And the shoes, very comfy by the way,” He chuckled and I saw he was wearing the shoes too.

“You’re wearing the dress,” He noted.

“Yes! It’s amazing! Thank you so much!” I grinned.

“Well, you best get going to your seats,” He handed us the tickets and we hugged once more before we took off to our seats; wishing Justin luck on our way. I realised Harry and Louis had disappeared whilst we were talking to Justin… what are they up to?

“Where were you?” I asked as Harry and Louis ran over to us.

“Nowhere,” Harry winked and Louis giggled like a girl.

“Right,” I muttered.

“Tickets,” Someone asked and I handed over the tickets to this really big guy.

“Lucky people,” He muttered.

“Pardon?” Molly frowned.

“You’re in the top box, did you not know?” He asked.

“No… we kind of got these tickets, last minute,” I explained.

“Sweet,” He smiled.

“You could say that,” Louis smirked.

“This way then,” The guy sent us a quizzical look; like he was thinking hard. We followed him up some stairs and down a corridor before he opened a door and we found ourselves standing in a box. The front was a glass window and there were seats in front of it. Seats? Who’s going to be sitting down during this heavenly concert?

“Do I know you from somewhere…?” The guy looked the boys up and down.

“Maybe,” Zayn said mysteriously and Niall waved his hands and wiggled his fingers making ghostly noises, like ‘oo’ sort of noises. You get me?

“One Direction?” He asked, cocking his head to the side.

“Possibly,” Zayn said in the same mysterious voice as before and this time we all joined in doing Niall’s little ghost dance around the man, who looked freaked out.

“I’ll be going now,” He muttered and shot out the room. I swear I’ve never seen someone move so fast; not even Niall when he hears the word ‘food’.

“Did you see his face?” Mel laughed and we all joined in.

The support acts were good, but I was too excited about Justin’s performance to care. Beth and Molly seemed to enjoy themselves as they slow danced to the really fast up-beat songs. It was very funny.

When Justin did come on, I swear I died, right there and then. Sophia, Niall and I screamed so loud I think we made the others deaf. Yes, even Niall joined in. The three of us and the other boys sang and danced along to Justin as he performed. He’d just finished singing ‘Die In Your Arms’ when he walked forward on the stage and started talking.

“Hello everyone,” He said into the microphone. He received an ear-splitting scream from the audience.

“Well, I’m not sure if you know or not, but I spent today with Harry Styles from One Direction,” A huge cheer erupted from the audience at the mention of Harry’s name, “And his beautiful girlfriend, Lauren Varnam. They’re up in Box One right now, with the rest of One Direction and their girlfriends.”

A spot light was suddenly on us and we all waved happily at the audience who were screaming and taking pictures. Wow. So surreal.

“Anyway, some of you may have seen the videos on youtube of Lauren and my Air Hockey game,” He threw me a glare and I grinned.

“I totally forgot about this,” I laughed.

“Well, the deal was, if she lost she’d have to come on stage tonight and sing; if I lost I had to… well you’ll see… because I lost,” He sighed and the audience laughed. He stepped forward so he was placed in the center at the front of the stage and he coughed dramatically.

“Lauren Varnam, is the most amazing person in the world, and she is the champion of air hockey,” He paused and I smirked waiting for the next part of the deal, “And I, Justin Bieber, got beat by a girl.”

The audience cheered and laughed ecstatically. All of us in the box were laughing our heads off- not literally. Can you imagine that our heads just falling off from us laughing to hard and we’d be all like ‘where’s my head gone?’ That would be funny.

He then continued his concert. It was incredible. Best concert ever. Other than the boys concert… of course…

“Leggo!” Beth, Mel and Molly shouted excitedly.

“Where?” I asked.

“Home,” Sophia said as if it were obvious.

“No!” Everyone shouted at Sophia.

“Sorry…” She muttered and looked down.

Then it hit me. The bag… which was now gone… The water fight! The prank on Justin! Harry and Louis had the idea earlier and told everyone, but I had completely forgotten in all my excitement! “I remember now!” I shouted and everyone laughed.

“Congratulations,” Harry cheered.

“Lettuce leaf!” I shouted excitedly.

“Huh?” Everyone frowned.

“Lettuce leaf… Let us leave,” I explained.

“Oh,” The all nodded and we all burst out laughing.

“Let’s do this! Come on,” Sophia cheered after I explained what was going on.

“Going to be so funny!” Beth grinned. We all walked out of the box, and headed backstage.

“Where are we going?” I asked following Louis and Harry.

“To get the ammo,” Louis grinned.

“Okay…” I muttered and Kenny walked over to us.

“Here you go,” He smirked and kept one water gun for himself.

“Your joining us?” I asked and he nodded.

“Of course, it’s time JB got a little payback,” Kenny smiled and we laughed.

“Outside?” Liam suggested.

“Yeah,” Kenny nodded.

“How are we going to get him outside?” Molly asked.

“I’ll get him outside, and then you attack,” Kenny said and we all nodded. We headed outside the boys ahead of us girls.

“I’ve got an idea,” Beth said and we all faced her.

“Huh?” Mel frowned.

“I’ve had an epiphany,” She said dramatically.

“Do tell,” I smirked evilly.

“We do a Chat-Up Line Challenge,” She grinned.

“A what challenge?” Sophia asked.

“Chat-Up Line Challenge,” She repeated, “We have to drop as many cheesy chat-up lines as we can into conversations with the boys.”

“Sounds awesome,” Molly grinned.

“Yeah, so we just talk to them and add random chat-up lines to whichever boy we talk to?” I clarified.

“Yes, but count how many you do, and whoever drops in the most wins,” Beth smirked and we all high-fived.

“This is going to be epic,” Mel smiled and we all nodded.
