*THIS PART GOES BACK IN TIME A BIT TO AFTER LIAM SPLIT UP WITH MOLLY*

Beth’s POV

Liam walked through the door, looking upset and distressed. I thought he was with Molly for the day. Is she okay? “What’s up mate?” Niall asked him.

“I just broke it off with Molly,” He sighed, burying his head in his hands.

“What? Why?” Us girls shrieked standing up. How could he do that to Molly? I know they hadn’t been getting on as well as they used to recently, but seriously, it was obvious they loved each other. Why the hell would he do that? Where is Molly now? She’ll need us to be there for her.

“She’s cheating on me,” Liam muttered.

“She would never do that, she loves you Liam! You idiot!” I shouted angrily at Liam, all the boys looked shocked at my sudden outburst.

“It’s been going on for ages!” He shouted back at me; which made me and the girls angrier.

Seriously, Molly would never ever cheat on anyone, let alone Liam. She loves him more than… more than… Jeremy!

“No! You must have got it wrong!” Lauren snapped, and Harry held her back as she went to lunge at Liam. I was slightly angry at Harry now, why the hell did he hold her back? Liam deserves a punch in mouth for his stupidity. I name him ‘Lord of Dickheads’. Yep, that title suits him. Not now Beth, concentrate.

“Where is he?” A guy growled storming in the house, and then suddenly Liam was pinned against the wall, “What the hell have you done to her?! She’s in tears over some prat like you!”

“Who are you?” Liam frowned. I could only see the back of the guy’s head at the moment; but I recognised the voice as Molly’s brother, Jeremy. Yes Jer! Knock the Lord of Dickheads out.

“Jeremy is she okay?” Sophia asked concern was obvious on her face, mixed with anger. As I am sure we were all looking like that, well us girls at least.

“Jeremy?” Liam glared at Jer; he said his name with so much hatred I didn’t think it was possible. I mean none of the boys have met Jeremy; I’m pretty sure Molly hasn’t introduced them yet…

“Molly would never, never, cheat on you! She loves you! What is wrong with you?! How could you do this to her?” Jeremy shouted getting all up and personal in Liam’s grill.

“I haven’t done anything!” Liam shouted.

“You’ve broken her heart!” Jeremy shouted as the Zayn, Harry and Louis tried to pull him off Liam. Niall was just standing at the back, making sure none of us girls started on him as well. And believe me I did try. I wanted to rip his head from his neck.

“She cheated on me!” Liam hissed.

“No! She didn’t!” Jeremy shouted back.

“How would you know?” Niall asked quietly, and my head snapped to face him. What the hell? ‘How would you know?’ He’s her brother and we all know she would never do that to Liam. What is wrong with people today? Has Niall joined Liam in the Dickhead clan? No offence Niall buddy, but WHAT THE HULK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

“I’m her brother! Of course I’d know!” Jeremy rounded on Niall just as us girls had.

“B-Brother?” Liam choked out in shock.

“Yes! Who else would I be?” Jer snapped. Who did they think he was?

“Jer, perhaps we should leave them, we’re getting nowhere, and Molly needs you,” A girl I recognised as Louis’ ex-girlfriend said; when they were going out I thought they were really cute, I know there break-up was messy, but that’s all I know about the subject, and I never felt the need to ask about it. She then took Jeremy’s hand. I’d only just realised she was there; it seems everyone else had too.

I glanced at Louis, and he looked sort of confused. Probably confused about what’s going on, like all of us, and confused about why Eleanor is holding Molly’s brothers hand… I was wondering about that too. Sophia looked confused because she never kept tabs on the boys like the rest of us, so she didn’t know who Eleanor was- she was probably pondering on this.

“Yeah, no thanks to him! My little sister is crying into your clothes right now, in your apartment; crying over something as pathetic as you.” Jeremy spat out.

“I need to talk to her,” Liam muttered.

“No! You’re staying away from her,” Jeremy shouted and I agreed with him. He’s hurt Molly enough.

“She’s my girlfriend!” Liam shouted. What? I’m sorry WHAT? Did he seriously say that? She is not his girlfriend! He just broke up with her! What is wrong with him?! Is he like mentally retarded? I could see Jeremy was way passed angry now. And I knew what was coming next. I just smirked as Liam got what he deserved, finally. I wanted to join in, but Niall was holding me back.

“You just left her!” Jeremy roared and punched Liam in the jaw; Liam stumbled back in to the wall from the force. Yes! I support Team Jeremy! Team Jeremy for the win! Go on Jer, give him another one for me! Please? He went to hit Liam again. Yes! Yes Jer! Do it my son! Hit him! The other boys pulled him back and pushed him out the house. Oh hell no. They did not just do that. He deserved to be punched again. I don’t care if he is their friend.

“I’m so sorry,” Eleanor whispered to Liam. What? Why the hell was she sorry?

She then hugged Liam. Excuse me what? Is everyone around here insane? He’s just broke our best friend’s heart and people are hugging and protecting him! Eleanor then hurried out the house after Jeremy.

“Niall get the hell off me, now,” I growled.

“Not if you’re going to attack Liam,” He said cautiously.

“I’m going to bloody attack you if you don’t let me go!” I screamed angrily and he immediately let me go.

“Beth,” Liam said calmly.

“Don’t even speak to me you Hulking Iron Man,” I hissed and pushed him out my way, following Jeremy and Eleanor out the door.

“Beth wait up,” I heard Louis shout and follow me out.

“Just leave me alone Louis,” I snapped.

“No, Beth, please,” He begged.

“Louis, you don’t want to be around me now, I’m not good company. And to be honest, I just want to go back in there and punch Liam so hard in the face; and I don’t want to feel like this but he’s seriously hurt my friend, and I can’t deal with that. I’m just so angry. And I’m angry at you boys for not letting Jeremy rip his head off in the first place, I know it’s wrong and you were only trying to protect your friend; but I’m only trying to protect mine, and Jer was protecting his sister,” I tried to explain as I carried on speed walking aimlessly and Louis continued to follow me.

“Beth, I understand; I just want to be here for you… you’re my girlfriend and I love you,” He said gently grabbing my arm, making me stop walking.

“Louis please, just leave me alone,” I choked out, trying to hold back tears. I don’t even know why I’m almost crying, Molly should be the one in tears (and she probably is) not me. I guess I’m just so angry and deflated; it’s all just building up. As well as the hate I’ve been receiving from fans. I guess, I’ve been trying to bottle it all up and now I’m going to explode.

“Beth,” Louis said calmly and that just set me off. I collapsed on the floor in a heap, tears rolling down my cheeks and sobs racking out my throat- it was fair to say, I looked very unattractive. Louis was by my side in an instance, crushing me into his chest and rocking me gently back and forth. We sat there for ages, me cradled into Louis’ arms, whilst he muttered soothing words.

“Let’s go back yeah?” He smiled after I was finished.

“Can we go back to your apartment? I don’t want to chance seeing Liam,” I whispered and Louis nodded in understanding.

“Come on,” He smiled and led me to his car. We climbed in and he drove us to his apartment.

“You want a drink?” Louis asked as we walked in.

“Do you have any hot chocolate?” I asked sitting on his sofa.

“Of course,” He chuckled and I heard him put the kettle on. I walked over to his DVD collection and took a gander at them. I smiled as I saw he had ‘The Smurfs’ I grabbed it and shoved it in the DVD player.

“Oh yeah, it’s okay, just choose a DVD and put it on,” Lou said sarcastically coming back in the room.

“I will thank you,” I smiled and sat back on the sofa.

“Good job I put some popcorn in the microwave isn’t it,” He chuckled and kissed my cheek.

“It is always good to think ahead young grasshopper,” I said in a wise Japanese sort of accent.

“I’m older than you,” He whined and his lower lip jutted out.

“Not in ninja years, young grasshopper, not in ninja years,” I smirked.

“Sigh,” Louis pretended to flip his hair.

“The way that you flip your hair gets me over-whelmed,” I sang smirking at him.

“You should sing more often, you’re good,” He complimented me and I blushed.

“If you think a cat being dragged up the motor way makes nice music,” I muttered.

“Of course, it’s my favourite noise to hear, isn’t it everyone’s?” He winked and walked back into the kitchen. I watched movie trailers whilst waiting for Louis to return with the food and drinks. He returned as the DVD root menu popped up.

“Smurfs, nice choice,” He winked and sat next to me handing me my hot chocolate and setting the popcorn on his own lap. I scooted my body closer to him and leant into his chest.

“Get any popcorn in my hair and there will be consequences,” I muttered.

“What sort of consequences?” He smirked.

“Oh trust me, there isn’t going to be anything happening in the bedroom later, if you do,” I threw a smirk at him and he gasped in horror.

“I’ll be a good boy,” He promised. I laughed at him and pressed play. We sat watching the film seriously until I finished my drink and put it on the coffee table, then we started having popcorn fights and the film was just on in the background as we threw popcorn and pillows at each other. Somehow we found our way to the bedroom.

I laid on the bed and Louis climbed on top of me. He kissed me passionately and I kissed him back with as much enthusiasm. I heard my phone ring from the table and I pushed Louis gently, showing him I wanted to get it. “No, just leave it,” He moaned and kissed me again.

“Lou, it might be important, it might be Molly,” I giggled as he kissed my neck.

“So,” He mumbled, “It can wait.”

“As much as I want to do this,” I immediately stopped talking as I heard the caller leave a message.

“Bethany, it’s your mother here, call me back when you get this message,” My mother’s voice rang out and I froze, Louis looked at me and frowned as he saw the haunted look on my face. He rolled off me and sat up, looking at me concerned. I’d never spoke about my family to him, not really.

“Beth, are you okay?” He asked.

“Y-Yes,” I mumbled and looked at him.

“Do you want to talk about it?” He smiled reassuringly.

“Not really… I’d rather just forget about it,” I muttered.

“Okay, but you know eventually you’re going to have to talk to me,” He whispered and I nodded.

“But I’m not ready to go through… it all yet,” I sighed and he nodded understandingly and hugged me tightly to his chest. Which is where I fell asleep.
