Chapter 11

"Miko is it okay for you to handle the cafe alone?" 

Ushijima asked, they're planning to take the morning off because he's going to buy some supplies with Tendou but he is worried since it is Miko's first time handling the cafe alone. 

Miko sighed for the third time. "Yes Ushijima-san, I can handle it." He said pushing him outside. "It's not my first time working in a cafe Ushijima-san. So go now and have your date."He laughed.

"It's not a date. We're buying supplies."

"Yeah yeah."

"Let's go?"

Tendou said and both of them left the cafe, using Ushijima's car this time. 

"So what are we going to buy?"

"Gifts and also groceries."

"Eh? last time I checked the fridge there are still enough groceries though and why are we going to buy gifts?"

Tendou asked fixing the seat belt.

"Oh I forgot to tell you , do you want to go to Miyagi with me?" 

Tendou looked at him. 

"Yeah, sure why not, but why are we going to Miyagi?" 

"Tomorrow is Merry's birthday and she invited us."

Ushijima's attention is focused on the road as he speak. 

"She knew that I'm back?" 

Tendou shifted his position so that he's facing Ushijima. Ushijima nodded and looked at him when the light is red.

"I told her and when she knew that you're back, she sounded excited." 

Ushijima smiled and leaned forward to give him a kiss before he started driving again. 

Tendou smiled at the kiss, he finds it cute because Ushijima seems like he loves giving him random kisses. 

When they  arrived at the mall  they went directly to find some gifts for Merry. 

Meanwhile in the cafe Miko is having the time of his life because he can lowkey flirt with the female costumers since he solo the cafe. Everytime the two guys are there he always felt left out. 

Why are females attracted to someone like Ushijima-san? I'm  much more cooler than him though. 

"Excuse me, can I order some strawberry banana smoothie?"

"Sure sir, is that all?"

The guy nodded.

"Okay sir one strawberry banana smoothie coming through."

Miko said and started making it after a few minutes he gave the man his order.

"Thank you."

The man looked around , as if he was trying to look for someone.

"Something wrong sir?"

"Oh no. Thank you for this." 

The guy smiled and left the cafe.

He looks familiar. I wonder where I saw that guy, but I'm sure that it's my first time seeing him buy something in our café.

"Do you think Merry will like this?"

Tendou asked, bringing two dresses and showed it to Ushijima. He doesn't have any idea how to buy gifts for girls.

Ushijima stared at the dress.

"I haven't really seen her wear a dress when she was working with me."

"Oh."

Tendou looked around, maybe they should buy other things instead of clothes.

"Let's buy her a purse instead."AAAAAA

Tendou said, grabbing Ushijima's wrist and pulling him towards the purse section, Ushijima looked at his wrist and slightly frowned, he removed Tendou's hand just so he can properly hold it, intertwining their fingers together then he smiled.

Both of them started looking at the displays which have different colors and designs.

"What about this one?"

Tendou said bringing out a red purse . Ushijima stared at it for a minute before nodding. 

"I guess this will be okay."

They both nodded and went to the counter to pay. 

After buying the gift they went directly to the grocery store, Tendou took a cart with him and followed Ushijima around as they pick fresh vegetables, also meats  and drinks. 

"Are we going to have hot pot?"

Ushijima nodded. 

"I'm also buying grocery since we're going to stay there for two days."

They continued to roam around as Ushijima search for ingredients needed to make a hot pot.  They are already standing in line to pay for the things that they get , Tendou looked around the place, as usual there are lots of people and they are still away from the cashier.

"Wakatoshi-kun I'll go get some chips. I'll be right back." He said.

"Chips~chips~chips~what to pick~."

He sang as he looked at the different flavored chips. When he finally decided on what flavor to buy he recieved a message from Ushijima saying that they're next in line so he quickly walked since the chip aisle is kinda far from the counter, when he suddenly bumped on someone. 

"Oh, I'm sorry!" 

He was about to pick up the bag of chips but the guy picked it up first, "Here." the guy said, handling him the bag of chips. 

"Please be careful next time." The guy adjusted his cap and walked away.

Tendou stared at the guy until it disappeared to the other aisle. 

"Tendou."

"Oh, yes."

"Tendou its our turn to pay now let's go before people get mad."

"Right, I'm sorry."

After paying they went back to their car. Tendou was quiet since they went to the parking lot.

"Tendou ? what's wrong?" 

Ushijima can't help but ask, he was cheerful earlier but now, after he got some bag of chips he looks like there's something bothering him.

"Oh nothing Wakatoshi-kun." Tendou grinned. "Are we going back to the cafe now?"

"Are you sure you're okay?" 

"Yes, I'm okay."

Tendou removed his seatbelt to move closer and give Ushijima a kiss.  

"Hmm." 

They kissed for awhile inside the car, when Tendou felt like they should stop before they do something dangerous he pulled away and grinned. 

"We should go home Wakatoshi-kun."

"Yeah, you're right, put on your seatbelt."

Tendou nodded and buckled his seat belt, Ushijima did the same before he started the engine and drove.

"Oh, do we still have time?"

"Why?"

"Can we go to my place?I need to get some things, the land lady called me yesterday."

They are currently waiting for the light to turn green again. Ushijima nodded and drove to the direction towards Chiba. It will be his first time going to Tendou's place.  After an hour of driving they arrived at the apartment that Tendou lived. He parked the car, while Tendou went up first.

"Ahh, it's dusty now since its almost a month that I started living with you."

Tendou grabbed his bag and started putting clothes inside.  His place is small, enough for a person like him but since he doesn't have lots of things it still looked spacious. The only thing that Ushijima saw inside Tendou's place is a futon, some eating utensils, center table where he probably eat his meals, some books  and hanged clothes. 

"You don't really have things here huh."

He doesn't even have a television.

"Yeah, that's why it looks spacious."

"Do you have a box? So that you can bring the rest."

"Ah, yes, wait let me try finding it."

When Tendou managed to find a box big enough to fit all his things Ushijima helped him pack and after that they drove back to Ushijima's place. He won't be coming back to the apartment again.  

"Oh my god! I'm glad you're back." 

Miko whined and it made Tendou laugh. He can see that there are lots of costumer inside and he got amazed by how Miko handled it alone, but he guess Miko's on his limit now. 

"I'll put the things we bought upstairs, you help Miko he looked so stressed." 

Tendou whispered and chuckled before grabbing the paper bags and went upstairs.

"You said you can handle it alone?"

"I did. But I didn't expect that lots of people will suddenly arrive."

Ushijima put on his apron, rolled up his sleeves and started taking the orders of the customer who's currently on the line. 

"You saw him roll his sleeves?" One costumer said.

"Yeah, that was hot." the other one said and both of them chuckled. 

Tendou managed to hear the two female costumer checking out Ushijima and glanced at them, smiling, before running his hand on Ushijima's bicep. Ushijima looked at Tendou confused , Tendou just smiled and went to make the orders. 

Miko saw what Tendou did and he burst out laughing.

Hi! about the name of Ushijima's baker... its "Merry" I am really sorry that it keeps on changing  and i made y'all confused, I got confused too that's why sometimes I use "Marry "  "Mary"  instead of "Merry" . I'm really sorry. (-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩___-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩)

But starting in this chapter I will use her real name and it's "Merry" . ｡(*^▽^*)ゞ
