Thursday (3)
12:24, 14 April 2024'Geography class is first and second period, right?' Chloe asked as she ate her breakfast at the kitchen island with Marinette and Lizzie.
'Yep, I can't wait,' Marinette said, practically jumping from excitement, 'Oh, I'm also going to be showing the outfit me and Lorenzo have been working on.'
'Oh really, can we see it?' Lizzie asked.
'I only have the sketch, Lorenzo's bringing the outfit,' Marinette answered as she went to her bag to grab the sketchbook out.
'That's so nice,' Chloe said as she grabbed the sketchbook while Lizzie looked over Chloe's shoulder.
'Yeah, it's one of the designs that I'm more proud of,' Marinette replied as she continued eating.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Hey, how was the walk here?' Damian asked as the girls arrived at the entrance of the school.
'Yeah, the apartment's really near, so it wasn't really tiring,' Marinette answered as she walked to their classroom with the others.
'We'll just leave them alone,' Lizzie whispered to Marcus as they slowed down their pace to put more of a distance between them and Marinette and Damian.
'Walking so slow to give them space, huh?' Chloe asked as she put her arm around Lizzie and Marcus's shoulder as they were in front of her and Jon.
'Yeah, what else?' Marcus asked as Chloe unhooked her arms.
'Well, playing matchmaker, are we?' Chloe asked with a smirk.
'Been doing it for a while, nothing new,' Lizzie said as they arrived at their class where Damian and Marinette were already seated and were talking to each other.
'Seriously? How long?' Jon asked as they walked really slowly to their seat.
'Since last Monday, first day of school here,' Marcus answered after thinking for a while.
'How have I never noticed?' Jon questioned himself.
'Because you don't sense these things like I do,' Chloe answered as she very gently hit Jon's head.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'I hope all of you have finished your project I assigned, if not, please stand up,' Ms. Park said as she entered the classroom. No one stood up, so Ms. Park continued, 'Can every group send one person to take a number from this box?'
'Damian or Marinette, who should go? The two leaders of their respective group,' Chloe asked as she pointed at Damian and Marinette.
'Damian should, he has more knowledge of this place,' Marinette answered as Damian stood up and headed to the front.
'What you get?' Chloe asked as Damian walked back.
'Three,' Damian answered as he passed the paper to Marinette.
'There's five groups in total, right?' Marcus asked Damian.
'Yep,' Damian answered as they sat back, letting the other groups go on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Next is group three,' the teacher said as Damian and Marcus lifted the diorama to place on the table at the front of the classroom.
'This is a diorama of Vatican City, the smallest country in the world, 49 hectares or about 0.4 square kilometres in size,' Damian started.
'For comparison, the second smallest country, Monaco is 202 hectares or about 2 square kilometres in size,' Marinette said.
'It has a population of around 764 people,' Marcus explained.
'Vatican City is surrounded by Rome and Italy, only having a gate separate this country and Italy,' Jon said as she opened a miniature version of the gate in the diorama. The presentation went on with a bunch of fun facts and information about Vatican City. Before long, they were done and were waiting for the other groups to finish.
'How'd you think we did?' Marinette asked the others as they rested after their presentation.
'I think we did great and there's nothing for us to worry about,' Lizzie answered.
'I can't wait to see Lila's project, won't that be fun?' Chloe said as she looked in Lila's direction.
'It does not look like her usual projects, air,' Lizzie commented, remembering every lie that Lila said to get out of doing her projects.
'Right, she was really good at presenting the air, it was her best and only work,' Chloe replied with a smirk at Lila who did not see her because she was too busy lying to Alya.
'Let's just see what they have to show,' Marinette said as Lila's group went up with their diorama.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Our country of choice is Japan, a place known for entertainment called Anime,' Rebecca said. She was in Lila's group alongside Alya, Vanessa and Jay that joined the group because Rebecca that begged him.
'Japan is located in East Asia with a total area size of 377,973.89 square kilometres,' Lila said with a bored look on her face, barely focusing on the explanation.
'It has a population of around 125,416,877 people,' Alya explained with a bit more enthusiasm than Lila.
'Japan has been inhabited since the Upper Paleolithic period, around 30,000 BC and between the 4th and 9th centuries, the kingdoms of Japan became unified under an emperor and the imperial court based in Heian-kyō, the formal name for modern day Kyoto,' Jay said, impressing everyone because he memorized that with no faults and perfect pronunciation. After a while, they were done presenting, Lila and Alya saying almost nothing.
Marinette and the others realizing that Rebecca whispered something to their teacher before walking back to their seat.
'What do you think they said?' Lizzie asked as the next group went ahead.
'I don't know, let's just ask Jay later 'cause I'm pretty sure Lila and Alya will cling to Rebecca and Vanessa,' Chloe answered as they waited for the other group to finish.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is really boring for Lila, she doesn't want to do any work, why would she start now. She lied about something and managed to get away with just a few lines, she also got Alya onboard with a bit of convincing. Her lying skills really improved.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'That concludes your project, I would compile the points for the project and post it at the back of the class tomorrow, you all can check it out tomorrow morning, that's all, bye!' Ms. Park said as she left the classroom.
'Jay, can we talk to you during lunch?' Lizzie immediately ran to Jay.
'Yeah,' Jay answered as Lizzie left and he turned to Lloyd.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'I can't believe you didn't help me get out of Rebecca's group,' Jay complained to Lloyd.
'I wanted to be with Lucy,' Lloyd said with a regretful look in his eyes.
'Lila and Alya did nothing except say a few words, I wish I could've been in the same group as you,' Jay replied, putting his hands together in a begging way.
'Woah, what is happening here?' Lucy said as she sat behind Lloyd.
'He was complaining that we weren't in the same group, but it's only because I wanted to be with you,' Lloyd said as he placed his hand on Lucy's.
'Lovebirds,' Jay said in a spiteful tone as he turned to face the front.
'You'll find love soon, a feeling that makes you float, a person that makes you forget about everything around you, a state where the only person on your mind is your lover,' Lucy said with a dreamy look in her eyes as she held Lloyd's hand tighter. They confessed and are officially dating now. (I was listening to Lover by Taylor Swift while writing this.)
'That's kinda sweet, and also insulting, you just called me single in every lovebird language,' Jay said making a disgusted face.
'That's not what I meant and you know that,' Lucy replied.
'Jay, can you please not meddle too much in my personal relationship?' Lloyd asked.
'Where did our friendship go? You're abandoning me now because of a girl?' Jay feigned shock and hurt for being betrayed.
'Your acting is so good, you could probably join the Drama Club,' Lloyd said with an annoyed and tired face.
'Really? Maybe I should change my club,' Jay joked as their teacher entered and class continued.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Jay! We want to know what Rebecca said to the teacher, you were standing close to her, right?' Chloe asked as Jay sat at their table.
'Oh, she was just complaining about Lila and Alya, they barely did anything for the project, absolutely useless,' Jay said as he started eating.
'When did Lloyd and Lucy get together?' Lizzie asked, changing the subject from their geography project.
'Yesterday, I think, Lloyd confessed to Lucy after so long of cat and mouse,' Jay said, knowing almost everything about his best friend, Lloyd.
'Does Lorenzo know?' Chloe followed up as she ate her food.
'Yeah and he's really supportive, I heard from Lloyd,' Jay answered with a proud smile for his best friend.
'They're so cute, just so romantic,' Marinette sighed as she thought about the cute little interactions she noticed happening between Lloyd and Lucy.
'And you're,' Marcus gestured to Jay, 'the third wheel of their relationship, welcome aboard.'
'Right, we are always, somehow in the middle of these two lovebirds' relationship,' Damian gestured to Chloe and Jon.
'Well, yeah, the four of you always interrupt our moments one way or another,' Jon commented with a smile while holding Chloe's hand.
'Yuck, I can't handle anymore lovey-dovey stuff today, can you please stop?' Jay asked, pulling a disgusted face.
'How much did you had to endure?' Marcus asked with a light pat on Jay's back.
'Imagine this, two people who just got together the day before after over six months worth of hidden feelings for each other, imagine how much they are all over each other,' Jay said, sparing a glance at Lucy and Lloyd who were all over each other.
'I understand you, don't worry,' Marcus answered with a smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Guess what? Marinette hit me today, it hurt, she did it a bit before class started,' Lila lied as crocodile tears fell down her eyes.
'How could she do that? You know what? You should tell a teacher, then Marinette can get payback,' Alya said, spite apparent in her tone and voice.
'It would be best if you report everything,' Rose said in her usual timid voice. Adrien, Juleka and Nino just stared at them like they were crazy, holding their laughter in at the absurdity of the whole situation.
'Don't you guys think maybe we should not be so quick to judge Marinette?' Kim asked, slight anger in his voice as he saw his friend get so rudely accused.
'What has gotten into you? Can't you see that Lila is the one getting hurt?' Alya asked, angry while Lila grinned, she didn't even need to do anything.
'Kim's just really sad, yesterday, he found a picture of him and Marinette before this happened in his suitcase, he just can't get the fact that Marinette betrayed all of us, she is such an angel, isn't she?' Nathaniel quickly said to save Kim, putting a hand on Kim's shoulder to warn him to not step out of line.
'Yeah, she used to be so sweet, but it was all a lie, I'm so glad for Lila who showed Marinette's true colours,' Alya said with a grateful smile at Lila.
'Though, Nathaniel, why did you use "is" as in present tense? It should be she was such an angel,' Lila said, catching on to that specific word usage.
'Oh, just a slip of the tongue, some part of me still hopes she hasn't changed, right?' Nathaniel asked, giving a passive-aggressive look to Lila as he placed his elbow on the table, resting his head on it.
'Of course, you all must have been so close to her,' Lila said, catching the look and sending it back.
'We were infinitely close, she was my first crush after all, unfortunate that she showed her true colours,' Nathaniel replied, keeping that same look on his face.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It feels empty in here, without Marcus..." Lizzie thought to herself as she looked at Marcus's empty seat.
'Hey Lizzie, can I take Marcus's seat?' Clara from the improv group said with a smile.
'Yeah sure,' Lizzie said as Clara pulled the chair and sat down next to Lizzie.
'I have a request,' Clara said with a small smile on her face.
'What is it?' Lizzie asked, occasionally looking at the door to see if their teacher is there yet.
'Can you try acting in a show? The original actress got hurt and we need to find a replacement,' Clara explained with a pleading look.
'Why me? Aren't there better choices out there?' Lizzie asked with a very surprised look.
'There's not a lot of actresses who would do it on such short notice, plus, I've seen your acting, it's good,' Clara explained before adding, 'You have a really minor role and Marcus is also acting in it.'
'Can I have more details about the shooting and everything,' Lizzie requested.
'It will be this Saturday, I know it's really short notice, but you seem great with memorizing scripts,' Clara was practically begging.
'I'm considering it, can we talk after class?' Lizzie asked as their teacher came in and Clara nodded in agreement.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hmm... I wonder if Clara can manage to convince Lizzie to join," Marcus thought to himself as he waited at a dress-up room.
'What you thinking?' Theo, Marcus's assistant, asked.
'Just wondering if Clara can get Lizzie to agree to do the role,' Marcus answered as he placed his cup of coffee on the table.
'I have a feeling she'll pull through, plus Lizzie has a lot of potential from the videos you sent me,' Theo replied with an encouraging smile at Marcus.
'Marcus, you're up in five,' the director's assistant said as she peeked her head through the door.
'Got it,' Marcus said, walking out of the room to get in position for his next scene.
'Skipping school for something like this has got to be fun, though he does not seem too happy about it,' Theo mumbled to himself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Yeah, I'd like to do it, it be a great opportunity for me,' Lizzie told Clara as they exchanged their contacts.
'That's great, I shall give higher-ups your contact and they'll text you more about the details of this,' Clara said as they waved to each other and separated.
'Hey Liz, did anything fun happen?' Marinette asked as Lizzie approached them.
'Yeah, I have my first acting role,' Lizzie answered with a blank face.
'What?' Chloe exclaimed in surprise as they entered the class.
'Clara, one of my friends, requested for my help in acting because the original actress hurt herself really bad and there was no one that can fill the position by Saturday,' Lizzie explained while waiting for their teacher to come.
'That sounds cool, where can we watch it?' Chloe questioned Lizzie.
'I still need to get more information first,' Lizzie said as their teacher entered and they started class.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Marcus, I heard from Clara that she got a girl to do it, Clara also said you know the girl, can you tell me about her?' the casting manager, Klarissa, asked Marcus in his dressing room.
'Is the girl Lizzie?' Marcus asked Klarissa.
'Yeah, that's what Clara told me,' Klarissa answered as she sat down across from Marcus.
'Lizzie's our classmate, her acting skills are quite good and she's really good at memorizing, I have a video of some of her acting in our extra course,' Marcus explained as he took his phone out and started scrolling to find the video that he secretly recorded.
'Just send the video to me,' Klarissa said before Marcus sent the video to Klarissa.
'Done,' Marcus said as he put his phone back into his pocket.
'Nice, I'm just going to look through it,' Klarissa replied as she walked off.
'Marcus, just one more scene and you'll have to go to the studio,' Theo said as he walked in to the room.
'Are they ready for the scene?' Marcus asked Theo as he looked through his script again.
'Yeah, go in five,' Theo answered after peeking outside.
'Thanks, you're the best,' replied Marcus as he started going through the scene in his head.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'I just got the details for the acting job,' Lizzie said as she held up her phone, reading through the information.
'Is it short?' Marinette asked, peeking over Lizzie's shoulder as they sat down on their sofa at home.
'It's quite short, I can't disclose any information, so you'd just have to watch it when it comes out,' Lizzie said as she went to her room to act it out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Hey Marcus? Are you free? Can we practice the lines when you have time?' Lizzie asked Marcus through the phone.
'I'm free tonight, I could head to your apartment if you want,' came Marcus's answer, a light buzz sounding in Lizzie's ear as the call continued.
'Then that's settled, see you tonight, do you want dinner?' Lizzie asked as she quickly wrote the event down.
'Sure, I'll be there at six,' Marcus answered as they bid goodbye and ended the call.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Hey Lexi, I have some new song lyrics,' Marcus said as he handed a USB drive to Lexi, his boss when it came to singing.
'Yep, you got inspiration to write a love song?' Lexi teased with a smirk.
'Actually yeah, I've fallen in love recently and wrote those songs,' Marcus said, pointing to the USB drive.
'Really? Now I'm excited. It's weird how you can only write good songs if you have inspiration,' Lexi said as she plugged the USB drive into her laptop, looking through it.
'So... what do you think?' Marcus asked after waiting a while.
'These are so great! You must have fallen head over heels for this girl, and she's a lucky one,' Lexi replied as she sent the songs to some higher-ups.
'Yeah, I really did,' Marcus replied, a light blush spreading across his face.
'Tell me who it is,' Lexi demanded as she placed her laptop aside.
'That's a secret,' Marcus replied.
'Come on, can't you tell me?' Lexi asked again, pestering for an answer.
'No, but I might tell her my feelings soon, you'll know once I do,' Marcus answered with a small chuckle, seeing Lexi's face.
'From my experience with boys throughout the 30 years of my life, it is really hard for a boy to confess,' Lexi said with an all-knowing look on her face.
'Then you'd just have to wait,' Marcus said with a smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lizzie turned on her laptop and dragged her mouse to the search bar. Typing in some things in the YouTube search bar and then picking a video. Taking her notebook and placing it next to her and she listened to the person talking about acting tips and tricks.
'The key to acting is your understanding of the character, if you don't understand the character's motivations, then you can't bring out the essence of the character. A good way to practice is to take a character, their dialogue and write down what you think their motivations are and how you are going to show that through your acting,' the person on the screen said, showing a few examples.
'Understanding my character, motivations and whatnot, creating a backstory, writing it down, maybe I can add some small actions, like twiddling thumbs,' Lizzie mumbled to herself. She then had a brilliant idea and started curling on her seat, getting into the right position where she looked exactly like L from Death Note, it reminded her of home... and her Anime phase.
'Another thing to take note of, is to understand the character's relationships with other characters, friends? Siblings? Lovers? The thing to note is that with different characters, the character that you're acting will be different, maybe to a friend, they'll be more laid back, with a teacher, they'll be more respectful, it depends on what scene you're doing and who you're doing it with,' the person said again as Lizzie started thinking about everything she could do with her character.
'So my character is the older sister of Marcus's character, Mateo, from overseas that is giving him love advice for Mateo's few options of love interests,' Lizzie mumbled to herself as she looked at the script, printed and lying on her desk.
"I would assume that my character's quite wise, and if I can fit in a backstory, I'd say she's had a few failed relationships and has learned from those," Lizzie thought to herself, using every single trick she could to make the character more real.
Lizzie took out a notebook and started writing her character, Rosanne's motivations and how to show those motivations through acting. Her fingers dragged across the page as she wrote with her other hand, getting a good sense of how she wants to portray her character, but also leaving enough space for change if the director thinks she's heading in the wrong direction.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Marcus should be here soon,' Lizzie said as she and Marinette finished preparing dinner, laying it on the table.
'It's amazing that I don't need to cook,' Chloe said as she went to sit at the table.
'I still prefer baking,' Marinette said, sitting at the table.
'I like cooking more, it's just easier for me,' Lizzie said as she took off her apron, washed her hands and got ready.
Then, the doorbell rang at exactly 6:00 p.m. Lizzie opened the door to see Marcus wearing a hat and a mask, to avoid paparazzi. 'You're on time,' Lizzie said, leaving space for Marcus to walk in.
'I thought I'd be late because of this,' Marcus said as he held up a bad of chips.
'Took a detour?' Lizzie asked as the both of them sat down at the table.
'Yep, went to get a gift or sorts for this dinner and hospitality,' Marcus answered as they started eating their dinner.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Welcome to my room,' Lizzie said as Marcus went to sit in Lizzie's chair at her desk while Lizzie sat on her bed.
'Should we?' Marcus asked, turning around in the chair.
'Yeah, I'll walk through the door and stuff,' Lizzie said as she exited the room only to walk back in to act out her scene.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'I think your acting is amazing, though there is this part where you could maybe put less emphasis on the words, it makes it sound forced and unnatural,' Marcus commented, pointing to a part on the page where she could improve.
'Huh, I guess so,' Lizzie said as she started writing notes on her script.
'Apart from that, I think you're really good, the amount of research you did is really admirable,' Marcus said, a smile planted on his face.
'Well, I just want to do my best, I don't want to hold back other because of my lack in skill,' Lizzie said, taking her notebook and placing it elsewhere.
'I don't think your skills too bad, it's not main character material yet, but it is really good for self-taught,' Marcus answered.
'Really? I don't think I'm that good,' Lizzie said, her left hand holding her right arm in a scared manner.
'Your biggest problem is your lack of confidence, without confidence, your character won't come out naturally, it'll seem forced,' Marcus commented while Lizzie just kept silent, an uncertain look in her eyes. Marcus added as he grabbed Lizzie's arms, 'You must have confidence in yourself, your acting was good when we were doing it at school because you were confident there.'
'Really?' Lizzie asked, uncertainty still lingering in her voice.
'Yes, really. Have you ever put too much expectations on yourself? Is that why you don't have much confidence?' Marcus asked, reading Lizzie's thoughts through her face.
'I guess...' Lizzie said before opening her mouth and shutting it again.
'What is it that you're scared to tell me?' Marcus asked in a soft and gentle voice.
'Nothing, I just used to put too much pressure on myself, I really hope I can change,' Lizzie said, the uncertainty in her eyes fading slightly.
'Just know I can help you, I've experienced something similar, with people expecting me to be amazing at these stuff because of my parents, it got really tiring,' Marcus explained, giving Lizzie a comforting smile.
'Yeah, thank you,' Lizzie said, wrapping her arms around Marcus to hug him.
'I'll always be here to help,' Marcus said, hugging her back. Lizzie felt warm in his embrace and you could say they stayed like that for some time. Honestly, they wanted to stay like that for way longer, but they couldn't, they just couldn't bring themselves to say it, not then, not there, not those three words.
'I'm sorry for just doing that, should've asked for your consent first,' Lizzie said as they let go of each other's embrace.
'Nope, I'll make sure to make us even, this is the second time so you owe me two,' Marcus said, going back to his usual goofy self.
'Fine, I owe you, however may I repay you?' Lizzie asked in the most formal way she can while bowing 90 degrees as a sign of respect.
'Ah yes, your services will be required tomorrow, you'll know your task by then,' Marcus explained in the most formal way he can.
'Of course, kind sir,' Lizzie said, trying to hide her laughter, but Marcus already burst into a fit with their theatre kid style theatrics.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Thanks for your hospitality,' Marcus said, wearing his hat and mask, getting ready to leave.
'You're welcome, have a safe trip back and don't get recognized,' Lizzie answered, peeking her head out of the door to wave to Marcus.
'Was it fun? Did you learn anything new?' Marinette asked as Lizzie sat on their couch.
'Yeah, acting needs to be natural, so slurring the words sometimes is good, it's not like you always pronounce every syllable,' Lizzie explained as they other girls nodded.
'That makes sense, though I don't know much,' Chloe said as she patted the seat, gesturing for Lizzie to sit down.
'He must be really popular if he needs a mask and hat,' Marinette said, talking about Marcus.
'Yeah, he is, his popularity has doubled after his first album, and then his second album had great lyrics,' Lizzie explained after turning on her phone to check the Wikipedia page.
'And he started starring in a lot of movies, there was one where he was casted as the second male lead, but his acting was so good that he outshone the main male lead,' Chloe said, reading from Lizzie's phone.
'Honestly, since we came here, everything's kinda like a dream. The people we meet are nice and will believe us over Lila, we manage to become friends with one of the most popular actor, dance and singer in the world, the son of a rich billionaire and Robin, and Superboy,' Marinette said, thinking back to the past week.
'It's surreal that this happened to us, with the things going on with Lila, it kinda seemed hopeless for us,' Chloe said, hugging the pillow that was on her lap.
'I think we're really lucky, karma's going to find it's way back to Lila, we'll just have to sit back and watch,' Lizzie said, it may have been three weeks since they came here, but it felt like three years worth of memories that will never fade away.
'Of course, I have a feeling that she will go to jail for her crimes, speaking of it, any updates?' Chloe asked.
'Nathaniel told me that today, Kim tried to defend Marinette because injustice, Nathaniel saved him by going passive-aggressive with a battle from eye contact, suggesting that Nathaniel may not be on Lila's side, so Lila can forget about Kim,' Lizzie explained while summarizing the texts.
'I wish I was there to see it,' Chloe said, hoping for a glimpse of the drama there.
'Adrien, sitting beside Lila, and Max, sitting across from Kim, both got videos, Adrien has a video of Nathaniel's part of the conversation while Max has Lila's side,' Lizzie said as she connected her phone to the television and played the two videos.
'Nathaniel is so cool,' Marinette said, reading his look just as he was placing his elbow on the table.
'Oh my gosh,' Chloe said, blinking a few times to process what was happening because it was kinda sexy, the way he did it.
'I would date him if he weren't with Marc and if he liked me,' Lizzie said, as a joke.
'Very funny,' Chloe said with a fake laugh.
'Anyway, that's all that happened, Nathaniel is too valuable to us, I'm glad he's part of us,' Lizzie said as she disconnected her phone and kept it in her pocket again.
'Of course he is, plus, he will never betray Marinette,' Chloe said, patting Marinette on the head.
'Stop that,' Marinette said, moving Chloe's hand from her head.
'Anyway, are you excited for Saturday? Your first acting job?' Chloe asked Lizzie.
'Yeah, very, I really hope I can do well,' Lizzie said, anticipating the upcoming event.
'I hope to be able to see you on the screen,' Marinette said with a smile.
'I hope I don't get cut out or something, in this industry, people could just cut you out if they feel like it and since my part of the story is not that important to the main plot, it is completely fine,' Lizzie explained with a slightly sad look.
'It's fine, I'm sure your scene will be in it,' Marinette encouraged Lizzie as she sent her a smile.
'Do you know the name of the show?' Chloe asked Lizzie.
'Yeah, the first few episodes are out already, it's called "Remember Me Again", I'm going to be in episode six out of eight episodes and it'll be up next Sunday,' Lizzie explained, making sure to keep the plot as a secret.
'I'm guessing it's a love story,' Marinette deduced from the name as Lizzie nodded.
'Let's watch it,' Chloe said.
'What?' Lizzie asked, shocked that Chloe was so fast to say to watch it.
'Let's watch it, I mean, we'll have to know the story when we watch Lizzie's episode next week, right?' Chloe asked with a smile as she turned on the television.
'I've already watched all the episodes, so I can get a better understanding of the characters,' Lizzie said.
'Then, you can rewatch it, don't you rewatch everything?' Marinette asked as Chloe searched for the show.
'Yeah, I do,' Lizzie said as they started watching the episodes that were already out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OMG, I'M DONE! I'm sorry this chapter took forever, I've been losing a lot of motivation, it's like there's a phase of writing a new story where you're just really excited and you can crank out a lot of stuff, then when that phase is over, you're just left with zero motivation. Can you tell I really like Nathaniel? He's like one of my favourite characters. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
