Alone Again

Leo's POV: (Play Song)

"Oh would you cut it out!" Her angelic voice scorns through the small camera in my hands.

"Never love!" My voice booms back.

"You are such an ass." She sighs, the camera in her hands shaking slightly. The video is years, dated in the corner, and has small glitches in it.

"Okay okay! I'll make you happy. Just this once!" I sigh in the video.

She laughs and spins the camera.

"Who knows maybe one day we'll be looking back at this very video and actually be cops!" She explains as she holds up the camera to my tall frame.

"If I'm a bloody cop when I'm thirty you can take my gun and shoot me." I joke.

"So dramatic, come on we both need to be in it." She says pulling me close to her. I smile down at her and kiss her cheek. She smiles hard, the ends of her eyes crinkling. I lick her cheek making her scrunch up her nose.

"Oh you little-" She starts before dropping the camera and running after me.

My hands shake from holding the camera, anger filling through my veins. Impulsively I yell and slam the camera to the nearby wall, it smashing in the smallest of pieces.

Instant regret fills my body.

"No! No! No!" I yell as tears flood my eyes and I dive to the floor grabbing the broken camera. Small pieces spray the floor, the glass broken to bits.

I drag my hand against the floor, not a care when the glass pierces my skin. A small black chip stands out making me instantly grab it.

I sit on my knees grateful for finding the chip, still having the memories of Isla stored away in my bloody hands.

I sigh before I hiccup slightly, not realizing I have been crying this whole time.

I slide onto my rear and lean my head on the wall, staring at the chip in my hands. Tears fall as I mourn the loss of my best friend.

Now with no brother, no family, and no friend, what do I really have.

Nothing.

I'm alone, again.

Alone...
